Guys, I'm not hating on Texas... If you look at the product on the fild this season and last, look at the number of players that went to the NFL last year(None!) Then tell me about how good those recruits are! I do belive in Charlie Strong, and I do believe he will right the ship. Right now, the players he has to work with dont field a good team. You can count all the stars you want... Last night and all season, they have been a mediocre team at best. For a team of Texas stature and the expectations to go along with it, the cupboard is bare!

I like the Cowboys in this one, but not by a lot. If Suh steps on Romo's back, that could change everything!

The Texans did pretty good all things considered. They exceeded my expectations. They are still a mediocre team with no quarterback and a weak OL and defensive secondary. Foster and Johnson are getting old and beat up and can't be counted on for a full season next year. On the plus side, there is JJ Watt! The big difference this year is coaching. O'Brien and Crennell have made HUGE difference! They almost made the playoffs with the same team Kubiak had. Lets see what happens with the off-season and draft. If the Cowboys can improve after three 8-8 seasons, there is hope for the Texans.

Nash, I get your point, and I will try to clarify mine. While Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton are individuals and should not be blamed for the sins of their family members; they are from the same families with the same ideas and values. If any of those past presidents were truly great leaders, I might feel differently. While this is the greatest country on earth, our foreign policy, economic policy and monetary policy has us in a downward spiral that threatens our national security and way of life. I'm not sure a new candidate can usher us out of this mess, but I don't trust any Bush or Clinton to do so either. Frankly, I cant see the allure of either candidate and I don't understand why this country would as well.

I've said it before on these forums and I'll probably say it again... America can do better than another Bush or Clinton in the White House. Arguably, either would be better than what we have now, but we can do better!

Baylor and TCU are about to get shafted. The College Football Playoffs was supposed to fix all that was wrong with the BCS. I hadn't thought about the when absurdity of the whole situation until I tried to explain it to my wife: The Big XII didn't have a playoff because they only have 10 teams... The Big 10 has a playoff because they have 14 teams, but they are all patsys. FSU is undefeated, but ranked #3 because they barely won all their games against mostly weaklings. At this point she was too confused and lost interest. I'm thinking that Archie Manning was brilliant to get away from this mess!
