Callin him Shug and you've known him all of 5 minutes
Fans cheer, coaches coach and players play. Enjoy being 7-1, there are some teams that would kill for that. Be thankful for what you have, others aren't so fortunate.

Indian fans ... complaining just to complain.  The game with Central was not nailed down until late in the 4Q.  28-14 against Central is not a sure thing.  Two big plays and the score is tied.  Once we got to 35-14, it was mid-4Q.  It wasn't a 42-0 game at the half.  When the game is competitive, I like the ball being in the hands of the team's best player.  Not all of the QB runs were designed QB keepers.  Some were; others were not.  Some of the keepers show the growth of #2 as a super soph QB, i.e., he ran the ball because he did not want to force a pass and risk a turnover.
Indian fans could be married to Cindy Crawford or Halle Berry and would complain she can't cook ... or you could get a bucket of gold and complain about the bucket.
If #2 did not run, some fans would be on message boards complaining that Coach Faircloth refused to put the ball in the hands of his best player.  And, from the three games I've seen this season, (GCM, Lee and PAM), several times #2 has created something out of nothing to create positive plays and score points.  I'll take that and being 7-1 with a good shot to win out and roll into the playoffs with momentum.
    Go Indians.  Peace.

I'll give you GCM and Lee.  Blowouts from start to finish.  As I recall, the backups did play in those games except for the QB position.  Those are fair games for questions and criticism.  The other games were not blowouts until mid-4Q.  Go back and check the game summaries.  Lumberton kept hanging around, Vidor led us at the half and when PN-G had some separation in the 3Q, Vidor struck back in the 4Q with a score and the Pirates had already shown they were willing to go with an onside kick.  Against Silsbee, the back-up QB did play and was 3-4 passing and he rushed for a TD.  I agree the backup is outstanding.  He can close out games...my goodness, if PN-G needed him, he could lead the team to a win from start to finish.  The Indians are lucky to have him.  But, to complain that the starting QB is doing too much, that is not what the facts prove.  The Indians have fed the RB all season long...that won't stop unless the defense forces it on the zone read.  It's not about a one man show, its about executing the offense.  See Vidor and Central games where #2 could have ran all night long, but instead he pulled the back from the zone/read run/pass option and hit McZeal for long TDs
It is not about individual records.  That is a guess by fans.  It's about team wins and losses.  The QB is executing the offense and taking what is open.  And, he is very good at it.  He gets the ball to the right people in open space...and yes, #5, 6, 10, 11, 12, and the others are playmakers.  I'm not arguing with you, but some PN-G fans just like to complain about anything Coach Faircloth does.  He loses and fans want a new coach; he wins and fans don't like the way he puts a W in the books.  Like I said, some fans - not all, but some - could get a free bucket of gold and they would complain about the bucket.  Yet, when it comes time to contribute funds to a new indoor practice facility, those same fans are suddenly quiet.  They want others to do the heavy lifting so they can keep complaining.

    Go Indians.  Peace.

I can respect that! You are knowledgeable enough to have a conversation with unlike the Vidorian I spoke of. Yes the History of the reservation is very interesting. Historians say from the school property through PN park to the river was home to two different tribes in different era's. It would take an imaginative mind to conjure up a vision of Indian Teepees and burial mounds at the same site we play football games. Yet 200 years ago, that was the location of the only Indian village in Jefferson county. As far as running up the score, Faircloth Tride's can never be accused of that. Love him or hate him he rarely puts 50 on a team, and if he does he has no choice as unforeseen events like  scope and score etc. Or the lack of not being able to stop a dive that goes for 60. He respects his 2nd and 3rd strings effort at practice and wants everyone to play.. im sure not every one is jealous of the program, but the Best thing I EVER  did years ago was move my family to PNG. Say what you will but not many school have the tradition this school has. If you only lived in one city your whole life you will never know there is better places. Home is home true, but I have attended many schools in different states and nothing comes close to PNG. My Lessons are endless. Im here all day.

that about sums it up im a homer for sure and I am hard on them at times, but I expect them to excel and win, that is where the fun begins, we brain wash our kids at the earliest age possible, and continue to instill it in their heads all the way till they graduate. It is a way of life and I couldn't imagine it any other way.

I have no problem with him tooting Logan's horn, he deserves it, hands down,.  Never said its easy to call a game.  I have no doubt it's not.  Just saying that the fake Cajun accent is ridiculous.   My opinion and like you, I'm entitled to mine.

Whoa, I thought you were a Nederland fan, you are always posting in regards to we, (as in Nederland), and bad mouthing PNG.
Whoa-“PNG should kill us they are extremely talented and pretty.  This should be their best group since??? last year with Morse and the year before that and the year before that and the year before, etc... All we do is out coach them and win at the end”
Whoa-“Been like that for PNG since 1974 when Kyle Aggilard pushed down our db to catch a game winning pass that put them in the playoffs - our program went down and they started that 5/6 year run.  They really do look pretty but look at all the personal fouls that GET called against them and the ones that don't.   Must be the purple sun glasses”
If you were a PN-G letterman in 74, 75, and 76, how did Kyle A. push down OUR DB?
    Just Curious!!!

In his defense when #22 is constantly making phenomenal plays he definitely deserves to be talked about. I think some of the people on this thread should try to call PNG games and see how easy its NOT. I have heard that they are given MANY rules as to what UIL/coaches will allow them to say and what they are not allowed to say. So when you're constantly having to be mindful of those many rules I dont think its as easy as "just calling the game." I also know they fought tooth and nail to get PNG Radio to the community because so many fans were upset when they couldn't make games especially sell out games like mid county madness. Lets praise these guys instead of talking about how annoying they are because they also do this for FREE because all three of them love the game and love Indian Nation. Lance, Francis, and Rachael do a great job.

I don't believe that Neumann would intentionally play a player whose eligibility was questionable.  However, there are some lingering questions that remain unanswered:
    1.   What was the purpose of the eligibility waiver? The only one of the waivers that would seem to apply would be the parent resident waiver.  The rule governing this is in Rule 463 of the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules and it states:
    (2) Parent Residence Rule.
    (A) If a District Executive Committee finds that a student does not comply with Sections 403(f) and 442 (residence rules), that student may apply for a waiver of the apparent non-compliance and a declaration of eligibility.

    (B) A waiver of the residence rule shall be null and void when either the District Executive Committee or the State Executive Committee determines that the student changed schools for athletic purposes.

    (C) If a student who has been granted a waiver returns to the school in the attendance zone where the parents reside, a Previous Athletic Participation Form shall be furnished to the District Executive Committee, who will rule on the student’s eligibility at that school.

    2.    If this is the waiver, when did Nederland submit such a waiver for Kevin Laday?  By the rule, a waiver would only be appropriate to apply for if the DEC ruled that the student did not comply.  Did the DEC make such a ruling? And if so, why would Nederland allow Laday to play in varsity play under the shadow of this ruling?  Was the original waiver application granted and the UIL contact which occurred following the week of the Nederland/Livingston game notifying them that they had received information which may compel them to reverse their granting of the waiver or was the word that Nederland got last week that the UIL had denied Nederland/Laday's original application?
These questions leave open the possibility that, at the very least, there was some lack of due diligence here.

Hoping for a good, injury free game on both sides. A Raider victory would be awesome. Neither team has been tested at all, so it's kinda hard to predict the outcome imho. History is vastly in PNG's favor of course. The Raiders looked like world beaters against a King-less HF. I don't want to hurt any Longhorn fans (at least the HF ones that I don't loathe like the Shorthorned ones) but they are in for a long year. They didn't look good at all. I mean AT ALL. Lumberton's O failed to do much in the little bit of the Porter game, stalling out each time. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised. The Raider's defense looks pretty decent with the couple returning from injury last year. Both lines look decent too. Again, praying for an injury free great high school football game.....

Oh I know you already know all the history, you've lived it right? This is the here and now, and the kids living in the present are off to a good start. Lets not have them 7 in a row and the game has yet to be played. They don't give a flip that I like the emblem on the grey helmet better than on the white and they don't care if you think grey isn't part of the history of PNG. Cause guess what?? It is now!

I do want to give kuddos to middle line backer Cole Robbinson. Heard his name all night, so he was doing something right. Also, Sergio on the D-line is a beast. O-line for Silsbee had a hard time keeping out of the back field.
