those chances ended last weekend getting swept by Texas, and if they didnt then losing their first game in thr tournament pretty well seals it unless they were to come back and win it thru the loser bracket

no way atm gets a regional, their national ranking #11 is a joke to go 28-2 non conference while playing basically .500 ball in the big 12 should not earn a regional host site.  5th in your conference at 13-13 and you get a regional???   I doubt it.  TCU ranked 18th-24th with a 43-12 record and being in DFW has a better chance at a regional than CS.  You get one in Austin, one in Houston, one in Dallas, there wont be 4 regionals in Texas.  atm gets stuck as a 2 seed at a TCU or Arkansas is a better bet than getting a regional they dont deserve.

The October home games against Florida are a Sat/Sun 27th 28th

Novembers home games are 16-18 Fri thru Sun with Elmira the week after HS regular season football is over and then a Fri the last day of the month 30th with Gwinnett

December starts with Gwinnett Sat/Sun 1st and 2nd, Fri-Sun with Pensacola 7th-9th.  Thurs-Sat 20-22 with Mississippi.  Then home for Christmas not playing again until the 28th.  Then get New Years Eve and New Years Day off before playing again Jan 4.

January we get Fri/Sat with Charlotte 4th,5th, then 11-13 Fri-Sun  with South Carolina, Fri-Sun 25-27 with Mississippi.  Thurs 31st with Florida

Fri/Sat Feb 1st/2nd  Florida, Columbia come in Fri-Sun Feb 22-24

then March closes the regular season with Fri-Sun dates with Pensacola 7th-9th, Augusta Fri-Sun 14-16, Charlotte Fri/Sat 28th and 29th to close our home regular season.

So 34 of our 36 home games are on Fri/Sat/Sun, only 2 on a Thursday, 9 on Sunday, 12 Friday and 13 on a Saturday

Not necessarily, Texas State already has a win over Rice, and Lamar should have beat ULL, a top 25 team.  This is a down year for the SLC so I doubt any team will make it out of regionals.

and of those mid-week wins where a top 20 school plays a Texas State or a Lamar etc how many time do they throw their top pitcher or two like they would in a NCAA tournament game?? 

yeah the Horns opened their season out west against SD this year.

I predict that whoever wins the SLC tournament then either goes to Houston to play Rice or Austin to play Texas and subsequently gets smoked.

wouldnt classify him as a great shooter, a great athlete who plays basketball yes but not a great shooter.  if you're talking just shooter AJ Abrams is a better "shooter" than KD is, KD is a better "scorer" than Abrams.  but neither of them belong on a top 10 shooter list.  The best "shooters" I can remember from UT would be Reggie Freeman back when Penders was in Austin, and then the old BMW crew in the early 1990s Lance Blanks, Travis Mays and Joey Wright.
