I would love to see him get his rear kicked again. Like I said on the other thread, have the fight happen with no vaseline allowed at all for anything other than cuts that occur once the fight starts and have an offical watch both corners at all times to make sure it is fair and then watch GSP beat him senseless again. Which will happen because BJ is a joke, all the talent in the world but no real sense of professionalism or real dedication. Probably explains why few of his protege's ever make it big in the UFC or other fight organizations. At least GSP backed up all that he let come out of his mouth.

Well in the prefight hype he likened himself to God when it came to how hard he was going to come at GSP. What a freaking punk. Got his butt kicked up one side and down the other and then calls foul about vaseline. If I was GSP, then I would say fine if he wants another beating then give him time to heal from the last one and then we go in with no vaseline rubbed on anything at all, allow the cut men to take care of any bleeding that may or may not occur and then leave the rest alone. It was not vaseline that made his corner throw in the towel at the same moment the doctor in the ring considered it a bad idea to continue the fight further. What a cry baby!

Dana won't pay him in the millions per fight like Affliction will. Although according to the reports they lost major money last night. Only had just over 100.000 buys and needed at least 250,000 to break even for the 3.3 million dollar payday to the fighters. Then you throw in the whole UFC love fest on Spike all day long every time Affliction puts on a show and they won't last long.

Zuffa sports/entertainment is the company that owns the UFC and who Dana White works for. They purchased the floundering contracts of the Pride organization when it could no longer stay afloat and had already bought the WEC as a way to promote the smaller weight classes that did not exist in the UFC. That is why Jens Pulver left the UFC and went to the WEC, same company just different weight classes. The WEC recently just got rid of every big weight classes they had. Now they are just middleweights and lower. Gina Carano was a contract fighter for EliteXC/Showtime, and when they went out of business White stated in an interview that he would consider trying to put a women's division in WEC and sign her. She has a tremendously large following both because she is a babe but she also kicks butt. She was voted top 5 most influential women in America last year.

Randy needs to retire, start concentrating on his wife's career and his businesses. I love him as a fighter but the time has come to hang up the gloves.

Shine all nine radio announced that they sold over 11000 tickets prior to the game and I know that I saw at least another 200 in line with me to get them at the dome on the side we entered. I would say just on the Dayton side that there might have been nearly 12000. Great show of support. Too bad for the kids that it fell short, but the coolest thing was all the SS people congratulating all the Dayton fans up and down the riverwalk, and the good sportmanship by the Dayton people who would all cheer the SS people when they walked by. Really makes me proud of the town I live in.

Word from inside Ganderland is that someone who has been on staff in GCISD for a long time is the successor. If you had to choose would you go with someone who is already there or do you go with someone fresh? Both have good options to them.

Muleshoe is waaaaaay out there in the panhandle, almost to New Mexico. The location causes me to wonder about the level of play among those teams. I mean, in that spread out, far reaching area, how many really good 2-A teams are there. Yet, they have played their way into a state championship game. I witnessed Kirbyville against Rice Consolidated. Without seeing Muleshoe, I call Kirbyville by 21 points. The 2A schools in that area are not great but there are some good ones, plus you obviously don't make it to state unless you are at least a decent team yourself. K-ville better not take them lying down or it could be a bad deal for them. Now with that said I have not seen either team this year but would have to go with Kirbyville in a close one.

I am kind of excited to see Muleshoe being good again. They used to be a strong 3A team back when I grew up in the Panhandle area. SHould be a great game.

I say 28-7. Then Kerrville-Tivy is probably the next team they have to play. That will be a tough game. Go Broncos!!

Just heard on the radio that when Stowers and the Friendswood coach met after the Angleton game last week that it got a little heated and they ended up not trading game film. Could not decide sites, Stowers apparently asked to have an all Beaumont referee crew, according to the anonmymous source, and then the Friendswood coaches told the reporter that they called up Angleton and were able to get 12 tapes on Central. Should be some bad blood tomorrow night in The Woodlands. Might decide to go to that one instead of watching the hometown Broncos in Katy.

Sylvia and Arlovski left because of money reasons, both contracts were up for renegotiation and the took higher paying deals elsewhere. I personally would put Lesnar in the ring with any of the guys in Affliction and with the exception of Fedor, I think he beats all of them. White will do whatever he needs to do to put Affliction out of commision and then those fighters will have to come back to him. Better fighters are not the issue, the issue is that UFC is a name brand now across the board in mainstream America. Affliction is known only to those of us cage freaks who are interested in the sport, does it have the possibility to grow, sure. But look at some of the dealings that the Affliction leaders have been involved in and you can see that they are not going to be around long. Silvia sucks because Randy beat him and beat him badly, he left UFC right after that. For that matter Couture is a quality fighter in the heavyweight division for UFC. Truly believe that the UFC is the better product in mma, not Affliction.

Dana White said on the 18th of NOvember while promoting the ST. Pierre/Penn fight said that he felt that Gina Carano is a great fighter with all the tools and is considering promoting womens fighting in the WEC. The big problem is that the other contract fighters in the former EliteXC are waiting to see if their contracts are bought out by other promotions and so it might be a while before we see the Carano/Cyborg fight. On a side note, I am totally in love with this woman. My wife even told me that she would let me run after her and beg her to take me if I want to!!!!!!!!!!!! So your saying that there is a chance!!!!!!!!!11 But considering the WEC just dropped its heavyweight and light heavy divisions adding someone like Carano would make sense to keep the company going promotion wise.

Affliction pays better now but as the other organizations have proven the UFC is the only one making money. Eventually those fighters will be in the same boat as the EliteXC. As far as what heavyweights in the UFC. Gabriel Gonzaga and Cheik Kongo come to mind right off. Both are pretty good fighters and have a lot of upside. Heath Herring is another. I will give you that the "names" are with Affliction but the better product is with the UFC. I can not stand Dana White sometimes but the dude is seriously a shark when it comes to competition.

I beg to differ with the arguement that the best HW fighters are in Affliction. I mean other than Fedor and Orlowski(sp?) the UFC fighters are just as good. I mean Mir and Nogera both are phenomenal fighters. Tim Slvia Sucks!!!!!! Give me the website for Sapp's strength totals. He is a beast but I still think that Brock could take him in a feat of strength.
