ThaGhost got a reaction from mighymouse490 in Memorial Titans Scrimmage Updates Please
I was halfway starting to like you until you muttered those last seven words. I will agree though, I do and will continue to cheer for all local teams. "Even if Nederland is scared to get some" -

I was just informed about this kid. He is the real deal. I see it like this though, you have two options. You can "wait" for your turn OUR you can "take" your turn. -

Let's just say they'll send more to the "next level" than the Bulldogs send. -

To say those that weren't able to make it out surely was able to shoot their "Nederland" slugs. Then the song and dance changed once the Titans started rolling...
Once The Titans get a few minor things together in the run department, they'll be more than fine this season. I was very happy with what I saw out of the young QB. I've seen him play since his 7th grade year and his only gotten better each year. He's a very smart passer with tons of help around him.... next up, BIG CAM'S CREW. -

Nederland needs to get recruiting PAM's freshman QB. Kid is a freak and will be a bigger prospect than Harrison. I predict he will be very highly ranked. Hard to wait until your senior year to get the snaps when you're that good though. -

It's funny when I show legitimate interest in the titans I am met with sarcasm. I do know a couple of kids on the team and have some interest. All football fans love watching great kids play the game. Especially if they are from our area. Hopefully all the kids that wanna play at the next level will have the opportunity even if PA is jealous of nederland -

If you do not break out into a strut when you hear "Sir Duke" or "Superstition" or "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours" then you are not normal. Go see a doctor. Regardless if you are white, black, brown, purple, green or whatever you want to label yourself, there is an appreciation for the song writing, musical arrangement, and singing talents of The Genius, Stevie Wonder. Even if you think white people can't dance or strut, they still do it --- consciously or unconsciously --- when they hear Stevie Wonder. There is a reason why Jim Henson and the Muppets (Sesame Street for the old school) loved having Wonderful Stevie Wonder as a guest star for the letters "W" and "M"...he reached everybody with his "w"onderful "m"usic...white, black, young, old.
Go Indians. Peace.

KMSL... tell you what, the next time you're at practice, find the Bulldog Dad that started this thread and tell him to "quit bitchin and just play your schedule" (you'll get that one next week) -

It's no secret that PAM doesn't have any rings, why don't you remind us all how many rings does Neumann and your beloved fabulous Bulldogs have in the "Little Brother classification" waits...waits...WAITS. Okay I'll give you a head start, how many does he and the Dawgs have in the last ten years? Wait, just for poo poo and giggles list the championship rings Big Ned has in the last 20 years. "Jealous" HA! I laugh in your face. -

don't see any rings in nederland either clown smh...beat the people that PAM could easily stomp in 5a...seems like the mutts are a 2nd or 3 third rd team...and before you open your trap about PAM doing it, "BIG BOY" ball is a alot tougher.

I make this really quick...
#1. Those "ex players" you speak of are only there because them or their parents KNEW they would spend their high school careers as the #3 or #4 players at Memorial.
#2. 9 times out of 10, Those players/parents(from PA) that decided to take their talents to the middle of Jefferson County end up with nothing to show for their efforts. (Scholarships, scholly whatever you to call it)
I'm closing now.
#3. I know the few responses will be "Quality of Education", well let me just cut that of before it even gets started. If little"Susie" or little "Johnny" WANTS to learn they're going to learn. If they want be "dumb as a box of rocks" that's what they're going to do also. No matter WHAT SCHOOL they attend.
Now with that being said, good luck to the Bulldogs. Hopefully they continue that district win streak. Aleast for the next two years when realignment rolls around again, because those a South County Titans have been known to end streaks.
Good day. -

Here's one angle that may not make any sense. Nederland is mainly known for running the ball.(let's say 60/40) It's no secret that PAM run defense is suspect year after year. So to answer your "what would PAM gain" question, an extra running opponent to prepare themselves for district. -

Let's see. Football is a sport, wait so is Volleyball. There's a difference betwen classifications (2) between the Lady Tigers and Lady Titans. (difference in classifications between NED and PAM) I GUESS! -

Ok I'll throw this one out there. Silsbee (4A) volleyball coach, brought her team down to PAM(6A) yesterday and played. What did the Lady Titans gain from that lost? -

Question: With new schools and facilities, and many others renovated/remodeled, and with bond issues on the ballot, why is PAISD losing students? Why is enrollment dropping? The same question for PN-G? We used to have an enrollment around 1600 (give or take a few) and now we are down in the 1300 range. PAM had 2400+ kids and is now closer to a drop in classification. Yes, I think PN-G should play PAM. It would be a decent game most of the time. During seasons where our talent pool is up ala 2014-2016, the Indians can go toe to toe with anyone. Schedule it and go play and compete. Not sure why we don't scrimmage or play in pre-district.
Go Indians. Peace.
