Very little talent??  I saw a good strong running back, a huge receiver that was open all day and a good defense.   Sometimes its just toughness.

A great defense verses a great offense. Gonna be fun to watch, wish I could  see it!!

My understanding, 8 starters will return next year.  I could be wrong but if so, Xbox will have to lean on the D until the replacements on O catch up

He didn't get caught up in trying to blow Nederland out.  I think after watching film, he knew he was going to be in a dog fight, pardon the pun, and called the game accordingly.  If you would've told me that Hines would've gotten 29 carries and averaged around 4 yds per tote, I'd a taken it.  I don't think another defense in this district can sustain that level of pursuit.  Harrison got the win and that is what he was after.

Nederland is definitely in the top 3. The reason I predicted a tight game was because one bulldog stadium and the zebras. Two, Nederland was banged up pretty bad last year. A healthy Nederland team is always a threat. Now healthy, they can win out. Rivalry games can go either way when they play png. Vidor won't be facing the same bulldogs from last year as they are now full strength. Game will be tight against vidor

What a game! I am thinking Nederland might grab the 3rd spot after all. Depending on Vidor

Again props to Nederland defense, but I would love to have to see Hines and Jones run on a dry field. I noticed lines could not cut on a dime like he does which makes him dangerous. Same for Jones 

Jones is a load to try and tackle the dogs better get to him early on the play and watch that grown man stiff arm! He actually threw the  ball pretty good  tuesday. Did i forget to mention HINES?!!!

He's a junior.  Matter of fact the defense will have  probably  8 back next season 

What grade is he in?  I watched him against Central and he gave their center the blues.  Two games and only 7 points allowed......

#9 and #59? can't be blocked.  Don't know if the west side of the Bubble will see 21 points

That whole Titan defense is just nasty but it all starts with #9. Like you said, unblockable.

Shouldn't matter at all.  I know his street (and home) in PA, like many, received extreme flooding and they were fortunate to get out.  I'm sure given so many families being displaced, the DEC will try and be as accomodating as possible, or at least they should be.  That's certainly been the UIL's position regarding those affected by Harvey.  
The recent storm aside, my guess is Jones transferred back because he wanted to graduate and spend his last year of HS with the kids he grew up with and went to school with most of his life.  Residency is certainly within PA and has been.  This is as easy a case as a DEC can get imo.
