Sterlings' forfeit of game with United brings the T-Wolves to the (1-3) mark.
Sterling claimed logistical issues because lack of signage to stadium.

Bootleg reacted to SETX Football Lover in Crosby at Vidor
Football wisdom says Crosby gets the W. 38-21 type of game.
But what I'm here for is the possibility they don't. I'm here for the fallout after a Loss!
Please, oh Please! It would complete this wonderfully entertaining thread!

With the intense crown on that field , I could easily see the field being alot narrower than normal. If the drains on the sidelines are not pumped out ,then you could see water from the sidelines to the hash marks. That would make things really interesting , there would be a power running competion and there is not enough field to spread out.
Personally, i would run pumps on Vidors side and stop up the drain on Crosbys side so they are standing in a foot of water.

You’re exactly right. Anyone can win anytime. People made those same statements about Crosby vs Manvel. Everyone has a chance and we won’t know until the game is over.

Bootleg reacted to jake94 in Nederland vs Santa Fe
I’m guessing there will be a lot of Santa Fe fans dressed up like empty seats. Hope I’m wrong though and they bring a big crowd. I am pulling for them in every game except this one with the tragedy they endured last year.

I’m definitely pulling for the underdogs in this game!!!
Vidor knows who we’re playing. We know we’re outranked, outsized, and are not supposed to have a chance. But, who knows?

The chances of survival for those Southern Marauders in 'The Jungle' was slim to non. Numerous tiger attacks proved to be fatal.
In other news, a local Beaumont City Councilman was arrested at Beaumont ISD Memorial stadium for removing yard signs. Beaumont United fans clap as he's hauled away kicking and screaming. Added bonus, T-Wolves get first win of the season.

Bootleg reacted to Realville in Crosby at Vidor
Vidor has 5 or 6 backs that will get the ball. Some will make a cut an be gone and some will just run over you. I don’t where someone has gotten the idea we have one good back. I’ve been to every scrimmage and game an that’s what I’ve seen.

I actually made more Central games than Vidor games during Devwahs' senior season. I loved me some central and was sad to see them go.

I believe Rick Culbert had the fastest 40 time at both LSUs' and Arkansas' camp that year.

Maddox was my favorite to watch especially on kick off returns. Vidor used to put their best athlete on kickoff return back then but they got away from it because of injury risk, im assuming.

Rick also came just milliseconds behind Ivory "Chopper" Williams in the 100. That was a fun showdown. Along with Rick, Troy Maddox not only had tremendous linear speed, he had some sick moves. Johnny Travis, and Doug Sims were great powerbacks. Dwayne Anderson didn't have blazing speed..but he had the best balance out of anyone I've ever played with. He was like watching a pinball get bounced around.

I guess I have to disagree. But only because I am biased lol. Two names. Rick culprit. Graduated 04 went to Arkansas for track. Ran a 4.3 40. And Bolinger. I think he had atleast 7 60+ yard TD’s when playing for Vidor. Maybe even more. I think I would classify that as breakaway speed. I mean he gave Alex sezar a run for his money and that kid went to state for track and field. But I am a bit biased lol.

Rick Culbert was fast, so too was Bollinger. I think Haylon Leckelt belongs in that group as well.
