Where?  Of the 1st and 2nd teamers on offense (including superlatives, I counted 6, Thonsgaard at Co-Lineman, Potetz at QB, Tidwell at WR, Dickey at TE, Colby and Will Barrett at OL), 2, Tidwell and Will Barrett, graduated and 1, Dickey moved out of the school district (remember, y'all were all too happy to tell me that when I posted Hardin's preview during the summer). Of the 2 defense all district, 1 moved.

I don't know where all of this returning all-district talent is......I bet today Ned Barrier is, too.

You missed Holst and you missed Caden Elmore. Add Thonsgaard and Potetz and Barrett to that mix and you have 5 all district players playing both ways. They are there just have to be utilized better than they are or have been.

  2. This coach from what I hear won’t be a Hardin very long. Not many coaches are going to stay as a head coach under a AD at a smaller school this is just a stepping block until he finds the next gig. He also won’t be there long if the board member who stands on the fence yells at him or other coaches. I was in the stands when I heard about this happening and it’s such a disgrace to Hardin ISD and the kids on the field. I understand that the coach has kids out of position and play calling is very bad but we as adults can’t conduct ourselves in that manner. Smh!

  3. My first game to see in awhile but from the looks of it Hardin played terrible. A touchdown called back and a scoop fumble for a touchdown give to buna and terrible play calling. When Hardin would run it they looked good but they seemed to try and throw it a lot more. That coach had kids in the wrong spots. I bet LH is shaking his head about right now along with every other Hardin fan.

Keep in mind our starting QB/Top defender never came back from Halftime, concussion. He was key on both sides, big advantage for Hardin at that point. Would have been a whole different game with him on both sides of ball. HD had to move their RB to QB, never played there before.

    Ok

  5. From what I saw if Hardin plays like they did in the second half they should be tough to play with...Score could’ve been a lot more due to the fumble at the end and the Potetz kid cramping at the whole second half... I’m going to get on his step dad for not making that kid drink more water. Lol Good win for the hornets and the new coach!

    Playmaker???????

I am friends with his stepdad and mom on FB. From what I have been seeing is he is getting recruited by some colleges as athlete. He was the QB last year but when I went to scrimmage the other day he was at receiver so I’m not sure about this year. The thonsgaard kid that plays ol/dL is getting some of the same college looks also. Hardin has a few kids that will play at the next level. I know it’s Hardin and no one thinks it but it’s true. Lol

  7. If Hardin let’s their playmaker run the ball it could get ugly for the cats! But I went to the scrimmage and he was at receiver and only touched it a few times. I believe Hardin will out depth them. Hardin has a massive D-Line with a hoss at nose guard. I don’t think it will be to close, but the cats won’t go down without a fight. It’s always an exciting game no matter what!

Getting a letter in the mail is not recruiting....FYI

No crap! These kids have been getting contacted from schools by the coach, getting visits set up. Southwestern, New Mexico State, SMU and other schools from what their dads have told me. We know that no one thinks Hardin has kids that can play at the next level, but when they are signed this year I guess people will shut up!

If you really want to know I Did Not Vote for Hilary but I bet your favorite news channel is CNN, they are as wrong in their remarks as you are.

Why did you take down your previous post you scared someone would see and and say something? I think the school board president already knows who you are anyways lol.

  10. They definitely don’t have a Reescanno but they have a good group of kids. I believe the have 9 starters coming back on offense and 8 coming back on defense. Along with 3 senior college prospects a OL/DL QB/FS & TE/LB. Whoever gets to coach this team is going to get lucky this year for sure.

  11. Hardin will play them a better game than you think. They had orangefield in their toes wondering what was going on for a while. They have to be able to stop Hardin’s big nose guard who is a monster. Hardin has one of the best athletes in the district at the QB/FS position who can run it also. Their fullback/tightend is a load too! The panthers better not over look them. It could be closer than you think!

  12. Hardin had way to many penalties which affected the score, they won’t be able to make those mistakes against a better opponent. As I mentioned in another post warren would not pound it up the middle like they have been against Hardin’s big boys up front. I thought Hardin’s number 6 played well on defense too from what looked like a outside linebacker spot. They did get hurt on the outside with sweeps and a few long balls by number 11 he is legit. Overall defense played good. I also mentioned that warren would have trouble stopping Hardin’s big receiver and their tightened, which was true but Hardin’s QB/FS is pretty electrifying to watch as he had a heck of a game. Overall it was a good/needed win for Hardin and the score should have not been what it was due to boneheaded mistakes. Good luck to both teams as district continues!

  13. I would say so too. Warren has a couple of athletes from what I heard and could be hard to stop. But I don’t think they will run it on up the middle on Hardin like they have other schools with Hardin’s big nose guard and getting there defensive end back from injury. I also think Hardin’s offense will be to much for them. From the 2 games I’ve seen Hardin’s fullback/tightend is to much of a load for warren to stop and also with their big receiver out there. Hardin’s QB looks like the game is starting to slow down for him also,  and he will be hard to stop. So that being said give me Hardin by 14!
