It was rumored in 92 that a Shs coach spoke off record to a local sports writer and predicted a 2 td win.  Now this is just second hand info but shs simply wore them out

But these are our star players!!! lol  I just have to believe Woodard has seen this act before from Bevil.  Remember when you take over another schools problems (tranfers) you run this risk.  Lets go get some freshman athletes take our lumps and be good in 2 years. A quick fix is not the answer for LU.  I do not care where the athletes come from as I cannot remember the last time LU signed a big time player from the GT.  Lets hope we start getting something better than we have now.

Hey those are all great posts but do not put if and buts in there.  IMO Woodard will get his 2 to 3 yrs. but I still think he is in over his head.  Lets hope he gets some good players and does OK but I am still not optimistic.  They are what they are!

It always been said that stats are for losers and if I am not mistaken GA St win gave them a winning season. 

My point was what did we do for 2 yrs. prior to this season.  Were we evaluating athletes or designing buildings?  I also know that signing date is in Feb. I just wanted to know if we have any quality recruits close to signing.  Hopefully this is better Ruckdad.

Maybe I am missing something but have not we had the same amount of time as So Bama who chose to play juco and other institutions rather than waste a year not knowing what you had and Ga St.  I have only seen or heard of one recruit and that is a jr from HJ.  Someone recruited who we have or at least thought they could play, now who that is I cannot say for sure, but what in the heck did we do for two yrs?  Someone who has better insight please enlighten me

He did not teach fundamentals at Burton HS.  Some how this was a done deal with Umphrey and silsbee money involved.  It just does not make any sense.
