What are the main differences of the Warren team over last years squad other than experience? Did anyone of you get a chance to see West Hardin scrimmage this year, if so what are your thoughts as a comparision from last years team? Here are my predictions: 1) West Sabine - Seem to be the early favorite to win District this year, should be a strong team 2) West Hardin - Much improved team with more balance and speed, should get into the playoffs this year 3) Lovelady - Last years game was 47-13 in favor of the Lions, with improved team West Hardin could beat Lovelady this year 4) Hull-Daisetta - Basing this off of Scrimmages and the information being posted, could be a tough year for the Bobcats 5) Colmesneil - Hopefully the Bulldogs have improved from last year, but not sure if any of their younger guys can make the difference yet

After playing two quarters of a game, West Hardin beat Legacy 3 to 1.  The Warriors scored on their opening drive, then the Oilers shut them down. Tough to say about the other 4 teams in our district, but this could be the year that the Oilers go to the playoffs. I really loved the variety of play calls & the execution as well.  We only had one mishap, where the center & qb fumbled the ball & Legacy recovered.

Play sets are done and no one scored. Oilers are looking much more balanced than the past few years and the defense is faster.

I'm going to this one!  Football fever is getting extremely high... Come on Week 0! I'll give some updates as they happen. Go Oilers!!!    ;D

Didn't get a chance to make this scrimmage, but I was told by several people that West Hardin is looking pretty good.  They scored 3 to 0 over Burkeville.  West Hardin seemed to have a good turn out this year of players. I'll be going to next weeks scrimmage, so I'll be able to gather some better information to pass along.  Legacy will be coming to West Hardin, I understand that they should be considerably better than last year.  I hear their coach is getting some better talent in.  We'll see!!!
