Newton will flush away the close loss to Silsbee and rebound with a win over Buna.  Should be competitive game, could be another nail biter.

I'm not ready to proclaim District Champs just yet, but I'm really loving our team this year! Lovelady should be our biggest test this year, but we can't count out West Sabine just yet.  Also, the H-D game is usually a tough game.  Coach Henry said this right last night, "Really good win tonight, but we'll take it one game at a time".

Really impressed by #6 & #20 for Kountze, their coach should really find a way to get them more into the game plan.  I saw #7 jogging pretty good during the 4th qrt, hope he is well.

26-12 final score. Caruthers intercepted Kountze at the 1 yd line, then ran out last 1:20.
