The West Hardin boys 4x400 relay team is going to State. In a very surprising upset, they got 2nd.  Shiner came out of no where to beat West Hardin by a few 1/100's. Congrats to the Oilers. West Hardin qualified with the fastest time in the 4x400. West Hardin - 3:34.49 Pettus - 3:35.43 Evadale - 3:35.50

Justin qualified 6th in 300 Hurdles. Murphy from Evadale qualified 4th in the 400M run.

Justin Harrington of West Hardin qualified for the 110 Hurdles finals tomorrow. Top time was 15.5 & Justin got 5th with 16.2. Burkeville boys made finals in 4x200 relay, I think with top time.

Coach Henry wrote is on the West Hardin website and I thought I'd share with everyone: "[b]Oiler Track Surprises Many, Win Area Track Meet at Zavalla[/b] The Oiler Track team came together and took 1st at the Area Track Meet last Thursday.  Led by Justin Harrington qualifying for 5 events for regionals.  Justin placed 2nd in the Triple Jump, Long Jump, 110m Hurdles, 300m Hurdles, and ran on the 1st place 4x400m relay team.  Other members of the team that will be competing in San Antonio at regional track meet will be as follows:  Clayton Werner:  Discus  4th Calvin Ridge:  High Jump 3rd Corey Brown:  High Jump 2nd, 4x200m relay 4th, 4x400m relay 1st Hunter Doiron:  Pole Vault 1st, Long Jump 4th Tyler Caruthers:  4x200m relay 4th, 4x400m relay 1st Mason Lawson:  4x200m relay 4th Justin Kelley:  4x200m relay 4th, 4x400m relay 1st Other team members were Jaybo Burn 6th place in Discus, John Glenn Harrington, Morgan Patterson, James Crockett, and Darren Creel" Congrats & Good Luck in San Antonio at Regionals!!!

Do you know any of the other 4x200 times?   Our Area Meet is the last one yet to be posted on www.ttfca.com, all the rest are up. Burkeville is sitting 2nd out of 16 going into Regionals. Good luck Mustangs.

Hopefully soon! West Hardin boys took 1st place in the 4x400M Relay, Evadale got 2nd. Also, West Hardin won the Boys Team Point Total for the Area Meet! Way to go Oilers!

Zavalla Girls won the Team District Title --- Congrats  ;D Evadale Boys won the Team District Title --- Congrats  ;D The 4x400M Relay was a good race and as expected West Hardin & Evadale took 1st & 2nd  I dont know everything yet, however here are a few things: Harrington from West Hardin: Tied for 1st in Triple Jump --- (Not sure of the UIL rules on tie breakers, but Conner of Evadale had a longer 2nd jump)  ??? 2nd in Long Jump  2nd in 110M Hurdles --- 1st & 2nd seperated by a few 1/100's  :o 1st in 300M Hurdles 1st as part of 4x400M Relay Team (Harrington, Caruthers, Brown & Kelly)  ;D

Your right it is, I didn't even look at the date.  The 24th we'll be in Evadale.
