1. Tickets are not hard to come by because of the huge venue.  You can buy them on game day by the day or I believe you can get a 3-day ticket.  Did it last year and I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Texas High School Football! Jerry has no clue how to run an NFL team but he can sure build a fantastic stadium!! 8)
2.
My no. 1 candidate would be 3A  Pleasant Grove coach. 6 consecutive trips to state tourn. defending state champs. Gotta be doing something right. Take a trip to Austin this week, and bring the check book.
A coach coming from a baseball program like Pleasant Grove would have trouble duplicating his success with the parameters of the PN-G job.  PN-G has great players in the program but it is tough working around the football/off-season workouts during baseball season.  This is not a shot at Coach Faircloth and/or PN-G Football.  This will be a very attractive job, but many experienced and successful baseball guys will give pause before checking out the situation.  Others will willingly choose to operate within the present system.
3. Congratulations, Tigers!!!!  This Bridge City Cardinal will be there in Austin pulling for you to take it all!! 8)
4. Congrats, Tigers!!!  Continue representing 21-AAA well!!  Good luck!! 8)
5.
Silsbee want stand a chance in this game they never been here Carthage lives here just like in football best program going in the state. It's about the Benjamin's called money money money
The third time I read this, I think I figured out what it meant. Punctuation is a good thing!  :o  Good Luck, Tigers!!!
6.
OF in 2
I am with this guy! 8)
7. Yes, he did win a State Championship in football at Bartlett.  Wayne is a good coach and a great man.  He is very well respected in coaching circles for his knowledge of both football and baseball, but more for his integrity and class!  Enjoy your retirement!! 8)
8. Coach Dubois is a great man and great coach!  H-J did well for their kids and community with this hire.  Give him time to build the program and 21-AAA just became a tougher district!! 8)
9.

The 43 K by Astros hitters are the most by a team in 1st 3 games of a season in MLB history
They keep making history!  ;D
So I guess the marketing department at Minute Maid can encourage us to come see the history-making Houston Astros!!! :P
10. Tigers are probably ready to unleash a week's worth of frustration in these next two games.  I would not be surprised to see the run-rule invoked!
11. Great synopsis, Admin!!!  Thanks and keep 'em coming!! 8)
12. When I was at Minute Maid for the Astros Foundation College Classic the place was looking a little shabby.  They actually had security going into the crowd to collect foul balls for the first two days!!!  Everything was done on the cheap, unless you went into the Astro gift shop.  Now that stuff has always been overpriced, but $40 for a new "old" design cap???  Maybe Crane can get his good buddy Pres. Obama to send stimulus money to another losing venture. ;)  Mr. Crane has not impressed me at all.  I am not expecting instant success but don't jack up your major league prices for a minor-league product.
13. Tony,  I just spoke to Coach Young and he is planning to be here for the Alumni game.  Hope you can make it!
14.
What I want to know is how is the Robin Hood law being administered. I see WOS sending several million dollars a year to Bridge City and WOS barely being able to afford anything. Then I see schools up in North Texas building college size stadiums. I see Friendswood with their own tractor trailor rig just to haul band instruments. The state of Texas needs to look anew at public school funding. Someone mentioned Jumbotrons, that is just to bring in better crowds, remember at most schools the football program is the primary revenue for the entire schools sports program. I can see a Jumbotron as an investment. I know WOS used to host at least one round of playoff football every now and then. Would field turf and a Jumbotron put them in the mix to make revenue again? Debatable I think.
There is no Robin Hood plan.  Bridge City would love for WOCCISD to send us a million or two but that has not happened in many years.  Check with your admin. or school board if you don't believe it.
15. Ditto on the best game I have seen in a while!  Both teams looked like they would take control at different times of the game.  Great crowd from both schools!  Excellent representatives of 3A football!  Good luck to El Campo next week at Cowboy Stadium!! :D
16. Congratulations, Hayden!!!  Those Ragin Cajuns seem to like our Cardinals!!!!  Good luck with this year first, though!!! ;)
17. Having seen both or these talented teams, I will go with the Mustangs.  Their defense will feast on Tiger turnovers and give their offense a short field. It will be a war for a half before the Mustangs take charge.  I don't see a shut-out of the Tigers, just not enough points to pull this one out.
18.
You will find out come Feb. 8)
February 2014
19. Special Olympics is the only place where everyone should get a ribbon.  No wonder we have become a nation of entitlement. : :-[
20. Until Reliant has artificial turf, you can forget that venue.  Too many games with the Texans still in season.  The 3 city rotation would be sweet and very appropriate!
