Happens on realignment years. The districts put out the schedules every realignment based on rotating for those two years. We got Huffman at home again this year as well.

I am not going to even approach naming coaches as the best, I think most of the ones I see do a pretty good job, some naturally better than others. To me a good high school coach is more than just X's and O's , how he leads them off the court plays a large part. However as far as on the court ability, what shows more about a Coach, how he performs in a program with a winning tradition or how he performs in a program without the hat tradition?

Why is that?

It may be silly but if you should not do things now that can become habits that you don't need to have later.

They are in the 4a basketball rankings this year, is how I knew this.

Had wondered about that as well. But not sure they wanted to add that on a hectic night.

These 3 Dallas schools are already 4A

Wow they had a jv game Friday, but did only have 6 players on the varsity.

So where are they wanting to go?

I guess my statement should have been something along the lines of:" This is my first time noticing anyone that far west in our region".

I can see that just have always considered it all west Texas, it has been put that way all my life.

Me neither but I have always heard the hill country referred to as west tx as far as hunting goes.

Ok I just consider it west tx. Due to being in West Tx. On our hunting trips and eating there at Coopers. It is actually a little east of the lease though.

Just getting to look at this a little closer. I notice they have brought a west Texas district into region 3. Llano is a little ways out there.

Definitely nothing against BS but if the Tigers get to play a warm up instead of a tie breaker,. I expect them to play up in classification instead of down. I would love to have a game with BS but it just isn't going to happen unless there are no good options.

Yes this year you may be correct but I am really talking more on a normal basis. It's hard to say but haven't really been impressed with that district overall through the years. 1 or 2 good teams and then the rest normally. Ours now is like that but WOS is not that far behind normally.

AAWs point of the two losses Big Sandy has is a big point. I am another big BS fan second to my Tigers. But depth and team speed would be a huge part. I have also been around this group a few times in the summer and remember seeing scores where they were beaten by similar teams. Yes it's only summer and not nearly the same but the way this team plays together not sure how different. I definitely feel my Tigers have the advantage but the way BS shoots you never know. I would love to see that game though. Tonight's final shooting numbers are a little mis leading,. They played the last 5 or so off the bench a good part of the second half and that 3 pt percentage dropped.

I don't know,.... Maybe but I would say LCM and WOS go along pretty good with Cleveland and Huffman. Not so sure on the rest though.

Hmmm makes a potential matchup with us very interesting....but we knew that.

I think the distance of travel and time of year may be playing a part as well. 2 years of freezes up that way.
