The only thing that has me wondering how this one wil go, if we play will, is that both teams are going to play right into the others strengths. Watching What I have seen of Yates the last couple games along with the outcomes, leads me to believe we won't have too much trouble granted variables like how the game is called, free throws etc. can make this a game. But my big question is just how the game will go playing right into each other's hand. I am sure there is going to be a lot of easy buckets and turnovers. Let's just hope we have more of the first and less of the second!!

The big deal about this bunch is they are a team. No one player no matter who is the best outshines the rest. They all have had their moments to "star". The thing is we have someone who can step up and fill each void..rebounding, scoring and defense. The one difference may be the size of the one filling that particular role. The big thing for the rest of this team is to prove they are as good and deep as we have been saying all year and that loosing one player doesn't beat them.

It is too early to be discussing Lincoln. But if you think missing that one player doesn't mean anything you are mistaken. The rest of these guys are great and have stepped up and done great jobs. But that player was all state last year, adds depth and is one of our taller players as well as one of our best players at getting to the basket. These guys will win it without him but he definitely would have meant something.

I have avoided this statement for a couple of weeks now. I for one think we have seen our fair share of coverage. But since our incident was brought up, the one thing among our coverage since it has died down is seeing pictures online when covering us, that are pics from the game that involved the conflict. Maybe no one else notices but it just keeps bringing it up in my mind. And one has stated that we as a team have not been viewed negatively, that's not entirely correct. We have been involved in a few of these over the years and although only the one player has been singled out, I have heard some rumblings about "Silsbee". It's up to us to make that stigma dissapear.

Good win by the Tigers but definitely not one of our better played games overall. First of course was terrible shooting at the free throw line. Then we had our second straight game where we jumped out big but kind of disappear in the second quarter. We als need to cut out the unforced turnovers. We must have had at least 5 or 6 passes tonight that were just not good. Mistakes like that may be very costly in a tighter game. Still proud of my guys and the way they are getting afte it out there. And I said it before and will say it again, it always feels good to send HJ home.

Tigers have to quit having these second quarter slumps.

As far as this game goes, it is one the Tigers should handle. However it isn't like most of these district games or even Monday's game, where we will win just by showing up. We have to focus and play our game and it will take care of itself. This is one of those games like that Jasper game where we are the better team but like Jasper proved anything can happen if you don't focus.

Yes and for us Tiger fans that one is as bad as that 31 pt. Blown playoff lead by the oilers is for Houston fans!
