  1. I was just going to say the Tigers won this at the free throw line. Can't remember shooting 35 and only missing 8 as well as taking over the boards after being beat on the boards yesterday and even early in the game we controlled them tonight.
  2. You have steered me right many times let's hope tonight is one of them!!! GO TIGERS!!!!!
  3. That wasn't what my statement was about, so don't take it there. My statement was directed at those who said not having him isn't a difference not that we should have him.
  4. One thing, I am proud of every Tiger out there, great job getting a tough win! One thing though that said missing Devon didn't matter, this is one where we definitely missed his rebounding and size and ability to get to the rim with that size.
  5. Anybody know CPR I think I need it...couldn't be there today but had live scoring on my phone and video on the iPad!!! But my voice will be heard tomorrow!!!!!!
  6. Mansfield Timberview leads Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial 22-18 at the half
  7. You can still win playing a bad first half....you can't win if the game winning bucket is waved off on a bad call.
  8. Hmmmm...and refs can't effect outcome....stopped momentum right there.
  9. Definitely, they used to have a link but I guess it's now just pay per view!
  10. The uil had a live scoreboard a few years ago with play by play and stats. Did they stop that when selling these online pay per views?? I haven't found that the last couple years.
  11. That is true but that ref at that point has still affected the outcome no matter how they reached that point.
  12. Although I agree with the gist of what you are saying, I disagree that a ref can't influence the outcome. Now I am not going to blame or even direct a suspicion to any particular game, ref or instance. But in a close game a bad call or two can definitely influence an outcome, especially say a bad travel or charge call that takes a possible game winning it tying bucket off the scoreboard. And a ref could also take a teams best player or players out of the game with foul calls. And yes I realize it's the players responsibility to adjust but you get into that inconsistency aspect of officiating as well.
  13. We definitely need to shoot our free throws better this weekend. We have done that at times this year. As far as Argyles depth, I don't know, but if they play their game that won't matter much. We need to dictate the pace force them out of their game. Hit the boards and play great on the defensive end.
  14. Seen lots of inconsistency this year.
  15. Didn't know there was a foul call like that. Did know they were calling lane violations quicker on the shooter.
  16. Yes in the 3rd place game in Fort Worth.
  17. Argyle style sets them up for close games with good teams. Depth isn't near as much of a factor if you get into that slow deliberate game. So a good small school has an easier time staying close or maybe even beating them.
  18. Argyle is better than Levelland. But we beat Argyle last year 56-52.
  19. Last years game was our lowest scoring output only 56 points!
  20. That's the better draw for us to get to that final game but it won't be an easy one. I was looking at last years scores and saw we only beat them by 4 in Fort Worth last year.
  21. I am not arguing. I remember this assumption every year. I am seeing reports elsewhere of the coaches already being sent the matchups.
