Nothing wrong with hiring a coach. Recruiting is definitely wrong.

I wish him all the luck in the world. Voters just need to remember that this was the school board's doing 100%. Give the new coach at least three years to see if it is a good hire. If it works out, praise the Board, if it doesn't then vote them out.

Just wondering which candidate you feel has IMPECCABLE credentials. I know that one candidate has coached a state championship team and is known for being a disciplinarian.

What was the tiebreaker for this tourney? Kountze finished 3 - 0 with a total score of 43 - 6 and Evadale was 3 - 0 with a total of 38 - 4. Was it runs scored or runs allowed?

No they are not. By law, you only have to post it for 10 days and you do not have to interview but 1 person if you so choose. If you hire from within the district, you do not even have to post it.

The one last night was to discuss the procedure for hiring an athletic director. Does this mean thier starting over? I know that 3 of the meetings were called to interview applicants.
