I hope everyone understands that I was not knocking the factory jobs. I am in sales, and people can not got to a sales sight and find my qualifications either. Remember last year when the paper posted how many times each teacher had taken the test and how many times they failed it.

Stop the speculation! Teaching is not like your factory jobs! You can go on-line to sbec.com and find ANY teacher in the state of Texas certification. You just have to type in first and last name. By the way, double D is CERTIFIED.

He was 8th in all positions! Some fast people.

1a district has 8 teams in it including Goodrich. This gives Sabine Pass and High Island 3 district games with 100+ mile drives ONE WAY! Goodrich,Burkeville, and Colmesneil

I heard that Huckaby applied and he is not being considered! State Champion as an AD with several years experienc as an AD.

One thing to think about is that Bremond played thier last football game on Dec. 22 - State Finals!!!

Mart turned in 184.5 while Lovelady turned in 186. Alto turned in 170, Price Carlisle turned in 171.

HD will still be the fastest team in the district. Looking at the enrollment numbers, you want to be in the big school bracket! Mart and Alto will probably be small school!

GET OFF BILLY'S BACK! Check his record and I believe you will find that he has one of the highest winning percentages in the state. Buna (only time) and Bridge City (2 out of 3) both to the state tournament under his coaching.

All the uil does is tell you who is in your district. The coaches then meet to determine order and site for district games. This is usually done by a draw of numbers.

Ya'll need to go read the post on Smoaky before making comments. According to Smoaky, the policeman escorted her from the gym after the official signaled for him, she walked onto the court (not charged), she was recognized as being a fellow basketball official, etc. She still should be arrested, but know all the facts before ripping into other people.
