  1. I can remember nineteen years ago that Silsbee hired a new coach and new coaching staff and they brought in a new offensive scheme. We have a loosing record thru the first five games and we found ourselves in the fourth round of the playoffs.
  2. Brent Douhon (sp) from TJ in the late 70's-80. Went to The University of Texas!!

  4. I think Silsbee gets back on the winning side tonight.
  5. Silsbee needs to stop the errors. If they do that they can make a game out of it and just mite win. The errors have kill this ball club and it seems like it the same players over and over that make them. All I can say is good luck Tigers, the Mustangs are hard to beat.
  6. If Silsbee can play a error free ballgame they can keep it close enough to win.
  7. Congrats on the win. Keep the errors down and you should compete in every game. Errors are kill us.
  8. If I looked at the record right WOS is 4-1, not much losing going on. I don't know how a district game is not as important as a non-district game. If you are lucky enough to be given the God given talent to play mutable sports there are priorities that comes along with that. In High School winning district games is how you get to the next level of play. If your school goal at the start of the season is not to get to the playoffs then maybe a forfit is OK.
  9. In Sr league. M'ville and D'ville looked good, early favorites for the SB. Both these teams have size and speed and plenty of players to sub in. HJ is BIG, if they get clicking watch out. One of the Silsbee teams is big also, they have some speed and if they get to playing together they will roll. The other Silsbee team did not look to bad eather, a little smaller than the other Silsbee team and they have some speed and a loud coach. lol Thanks Buna and Lonestar for a good day of football and HOT weather.
