I had a little chat with Court side since I've never seen slocum play.

So I go with HD by---12 ;) ;) ;)

What an awesome effort and game!

I was impressed by the way the team kept their heads and played their game. I do not know how many points, or more importantly, rebounds Phillip had, but he totally controlled the paint. Showed his maturity and strength last night gentlemen.

Now, I did a search for The Woodlands and need assistance getting to the correct gym. This is the Woodlands High school on Research Forest Drive, right?Agreed, P. Whittaker controlled the paint and the game.I was also impressed by the young guys on the team. # 12 # 10 played like they where as old as P. whittaker.But this game came down to total team effort and IMO a good coaching job.I hope the boys can keep it up.

Looking forward to Friday night. Will be another barn burner!

Wonder what that Ozen Fan, that calls himself Big Man thinks ??? ??? ???

So, does people think that the reason Spurger beat BS was that they were missing the 2 starters?

If so I disagree, BS I feel was just as great of a team, as they were the first time Spurger played them. 

BS was up nearly the entire game @ their place.  Spurger just kept battling and pulled the win out by 3 

Kind of like when they played in Spurger w/ ALL their players.  Spurger up till' the beginning of the 4th by 10, then BS pulled the win out by 5

By the way, my prediction is BS by 12

What will they do for the tie breaker will they play or will they flip a coin? unless spurger beats BS then wont they have 2nd to themself?

I would think they would like to play a tie breaker.The game would not make that much difference besides having an extra game.The two teams could use it right before playoffs.

    This is for the Spurger coach,#10 needs to be on the floor,he controls the game better than any ball handler you got.IMO the team clicks better with this kid. :) :)  Congrats Spurger.Keep it up

i wus at the wh spurger game refs were ok. let the kids decide the game not the fans. basketball is supposed 2 be a non-contact sport there wus a reason wh shot 42 free throws how many did spurger shoot? it wus a hard fought game between the 2 teams both coaches had a great strategy for there strengths and weaknesses good luck pirates!

Looks like they only played 7 players or only 7 scored which maent they intended on pouring it on.Must be some bad blood agaist their players.

I think spurgerfan09 & nasty need to watch a game or two with ok refs before they talk. These three in the stripes would get run out of most little dribblers games for calling that bad.   Better outing for Evadale this time.I don't know but I think coach was experimenting a little in this game. Spurger still not shooting to well from the outside.P. Whittaker had another  outstanding game.Congrats Spurger a win is a win.

I got to see this game tues. Not the best game in the world but a win none the less.Out of the starting five the only one that came to play was the big man in the middle. IMO. The other spark came from off the bench,#10 the freshman is going to be very good.Look like the coach took the handcuffs off and let him play a little like i've seen him in the past.This boy can hurt you off the dribble and dealing to his team mates or score if he has to.I think he just has to out grow the freshman thing that is in some peoples eyes.

i would not say that spurger is on fire they had warren down by 12 and warren did not even have a coach and the warriors came back and won the game in spurger and warren is not playing good right now so coop i dont think that they are on fire

I go Spurger by 6, Big whittaker is hard to handle this year. He playing like he's got something to prove to all doubters.

I agree with you courtside,Whittaker is playing real big, all they got to do is get BABY brother big inside, and #13 Sheffield is sinking his shots, I say Spurger by 10.
