I'm not going to discuss what I saw out there tonight, but I will say this. I don't care about the refs and how the game was called, we behaved poorly and deserved the butt kicking we got tonight. Congrats NC, good luck on the rest of your season.

Not my job to ask them.
Lol I guess it's not. But it was the Memorial Titans job to beat them, and they did a good job of it.

You did not hear me say we win the game at all did ya. Im just saying he over threw nearly every pass he threw that wasnt a 5 yard route.
If you picked up on it, why couldn't the GC coaches?

Who has NC faced to say they have a great secondary? Lol. I'm really not being funny. Heights? Willis? Wisdom? Galena Park? They lose to Crosby which isnt a passing
They gonna have to pick their poison vs our pass or run and hope the passing game is off. I don't believe they can stop them both. Their QB is gonna look to run, we gotta punish him when he does.

i pulling for them 110% assuming they get to the third rd, Hutto is gonna MAKE him beat them. if was the rest of the district, i'll load the box and blitz. nobody working with him is a problem.
I really don't think any team would play the Titans that way hoping the QB would miss targets. With teams playing with the safety over the top, them boys still running open as hell. To play them 1 on 1 would be a mistake. The only adjustment I would make if I was the coach is to go run 1st, when he did that last night, the QB play got better. We keep forgetting these boys doing this playing in a new system with roughly 3 months of work. 30 days of spring, 2 weeks of practice with 1 scrimmage, then games. They probably won't play a complete game til almost the end of district, which would be perfect.

including put in on defense to outrun Little joe Washington!)
Jet Bergeron was legendary. Didn't he have a brother that was pretty good too?

IMO I think ppl are looking at this as the "glass is half empty" whereas if the snaps are the only major problem as of yet, they should be seeing it as the "glass is half full." Let me explain. We have a QB that CAN get the ball downfield, the line has only allowed 1 maybe 2 sacks, we now have 2 deep threat WRs (#2 and #20), a possession WR (#89), plus 3 good RBs (#21, #25 #5) we'll be just fine.
I agree, but I don't think anyone is trying to down the players or coaches. Just speaking on what they're seeing. We all see the potential in this team, that 1st quarter gave us a peek at what they can be. I know I'm hungry for a whole view. I know they can play less than their best and finish 1st or 2nd in dist.

I don’t know if you guys noticed but , the starting center got hurt & we had problems. High snaps, low snaps & some were so slow getting there , it threw off the timing of the plays . Thats something I can’t understand. All these players & only one kid is capable of snapping the ball ? You had 2 weeks to clean that up , because it happened ALL game against BMT United .IMO , if we clean that up , we’ll be ok
The backup got hurt Friday night I think. #76 Ross is a freshman he tooks some snaps and was kinda inconsistent. The put some other kid in can't remember his number and he did a better job.

The snap exchange has to be cleaned up. I would like to see 4 quarters too so I can see what we really have. I have a good clue, but would like to see a full game of it. I'm giving the coaches the benefit of the doubt, and assume that they went extremely vanilla after the 1st quarter. No need to show the rest of the district your full offensive hand if you don't need to.

Can someone please tell me if the refs was making the right call on those fair catches? The U player never waved his hand over his head but did the lookout, get outta the way motion and caught the ball on a bounce. I thought you can return those?

Not many schools can handle a D-Line that's 6 to 7 players deep without a big drop off when they sub. Cupcakes or not, those boys can get after it.

Whats up Bo!! everyone saying it's porter that will "test" us...we seen and done that already...being a top seed will cruise us to rd three where things start getting tough. being healthy is the key.
Wussup bro, have you seen dist 10? It's a monster. I just don't want us to cruise thru this regular season and run into a buzz saw in the 1st round.

Yeah, region 10 scares me a little. The one thing I that love is our fronts 6 can go get it and you can own the line of scrimmage, it will keep you in a lot of games. They'll be going through wars come district time, we'll be having lil skirmishes. Having fresh legs and not being beat up has it's pluses too. It will be interestingto see how it plays out. I like our chances to make a push, but it most definitely will be a tough road.

Trying not to look too far ahead, but being in this district. Memorial can keep it simple, cruise to the playoffs without opening up the offense, and still have surprises waiting. The only bad thing is they may not have that team that pushes them to see what they got. Last year's loss to PNG, is where the offense found it's legs. I'm trying to figure out who would be that team that forces them to flip that switch.

While everything you've said was very valid, and hard to argue with. I'm just curious, at what point do we start to hold the kids responsible? 1) I thought the game plan was solid. The QB was missing wide open and simple throws. 2) the RB had 21 carries with no real backup. Looks like he was starting to wear down towards the end. 3) they did give up, but as a player you shouldn't have to be rah, rahed to step up and play. They put themselve in that position with the boneheaded penalties and foolishness. The coaches should've let them eat that poop sandwich that they fixed for themselves. Maybe now they would listen, maybe now they'll see how important being discipline is, and they just can't wake up and just beat people off of talent alone. I don't care how good a coach you are, kids got to want to be led.
