I condem the actions by LM players but let's keep things in perspective. Have you taken time to look at both sides of the coin or are you only concentrating on a non Setx team? Granted this is a Setx board but have you noticed something in this entire thread? I'm yet to see any mention of the same accusations being thrown Ozen's way period. You don't take notice of the pattern because you are merely fanning the flames with accusations without having facts. I've been a fan for LM for 30 years and I have never once seen anything of this magnitude take place ever before. The examples that you give are things I see happen on any given Friday night pretty much everywhere and those instances are typically handled by personal fouls or unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. This board is highly biased and if you don't believe me take a look around without your rose tinted glasses. You can deny it all you want but many here don't like LM because we typically put an end to your season so when the chance arises village idiots come out and take swipes at LM because they are followers instead of leaders. Other than our yearly games with Santa Fe who in the past always get frustrated because they are always on the losing end of the stick and resort to racial slurs I don't know of any team where shoving has been an issue. Outside of that jaw jacking incident with Lumberton I'd sure like to see your instances of facts to support your blanket statements so please enlighten me? Things can get pretty hostile posting here at times as you folks attack non Setx members like ants on candy. I can take that mess in stride but don't diminish our accomplishments without having concrete evidence to support your accusations. It's petty, wreaks of envy and it shows clearly. I saw a post today that said if you mess with Ozen you get all of Setx on you. It speaks volumes!

That's sad, unexcusable and downright embarrassing to me. I can understand a little jaw jacking but when it comes to this, individuals need to be reprimanded. I'm not one to point fingers because I think wrong is wrong no matter how you slice it. I have been a LM fan for 30 years and I have never seen such extreme disorder by a LM team or few. The Lumberton fiasco was just jaw jacking from both sides and both teams were reprimanded on both sidelines one at a time and that pretty much contained the situation from escalating any further. This on the other hand is completely unacceptable and although it's hard to discern all that were involved in the melee for now but whoever is found to have swung helmets or kicked players while they were down on the ground should be suspended from next weeks game on the LM side. Ozen isn't my concern because they should handle their own business appropriately. I don't care about winning or losing next week as this behavior is outrageous. If you can't figure out who to punish on the LM side then the Uil should disqualify LM from the playoffs. I love my Coogs but sometimes you have to do what is the right thing to do. If I catch flack for voicing my opinion then so be it!

Although I'm not in agreement with Brenham Fans opinion when it comes to Manvel it doesn't give me the rIght to ridicule his beliefs. I think that's called mutual respect and I wish it was contagious, especially at times over here.

If Nederland can ground and pound the ball they will be successful vs Dawson in that aspect of the game. Their run defense is their weakness as they give up chunks or yardage to good running teams. My question is how's Ned's overall team speed because if they're a great deal slower it could allow Dawson to get to those running lanes and wreak havoc? No offense to Ned but I'd advise them to avoid getting into a shoot out because Dawson loves that pace of play as they can be dangerous on offense when things are chaotic. They will run no huddle and try to apply pressure on their opponents in order to look for cracks in the defense. Slow the game down and it should be a close one. Oh yea, not sure why they don't go to their tower of a receiver more often because he can be a factor if utilized often. Good luck to both teams!

Well as much as I hate admit it LT has earned their swagger so until someone knocks them off their pedestal on the field they are deserved their due. True they do have money but they also have an ingredient that is integral to their success...discipline. Those kids have clearly bought into their system which starts way before high school. They have systematically groomed their kids to succeed and maintain their dynasty. Earlier today they were up by close to 50 before halftime and there was a running clock the entire 2nd half. That pretty much speaks for itself. Next week could possibly be an upset in the making though as the fictional State game in D1 will be played when they tangle with Cedar Park from their own district but I wouldn't count my chickens just yet if I were on the Wolves until next week?
