Bunton had 2 Int's that game one for a TD and he threw for another TD as well. His second was a late 4th quarter Int that led to a TD with :36 seconds left but they waited a wee bit too long to complete a come back. D. Bunton has 5-6 D1 offers and the kid is the real deal all over the field including kicking. Friendswood and Texas City will be battling for the 4th playoff spot. Santa Fe is the sleeper for the 4th spot while Ball is even worse than last year. I'll give Terry their due for beating us by 1 but I sure hope we somehow get them again in the 1st round although I think they are a big 4-A school. The outcome will be nothing like the week 0 game![/b][/color]

Dawson & Manvel are big schools in 24-4A and I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the region 3 finals squaring off for the second time this year? Overall Manvel is a bit better but not by a lot and the one HUGE problems both of these teams have is that they are undisciplined and commit personal fouls, late hits...etc. Even when they are leading in games! As for the game tonight vs Crosby, it's not even gonna be close...Dawson by a few TD's. [/b][/color]

Btw, hanging up 50+ on the board in most cases vs a HISD should be expected and not really something to get overly excited about. We (LM) put up 75 vs Wheatley and it could have been even worse had we converted 12 PAT's. HISD schools simply don't have the #'s nor the coaching that schools in the suburbs have.
