  1. I know C4L and can tell you that he's a stand-up guy with an impeccable reputation when it comes to dishing it out and taking his lumps when warranted. As far as him having a "told you so" mentality, sure he might have a little fun with you had the tables been turned but he'd done so in good taste...he'll be around.
  2. Congratulations on your victory and good luck to you the rest of the playoffs Lumberton. Heck of a ballgame!
  3. Actually, I doubt very seriously that our players question their ability to handle Lumberton and secondly, a loss for us in the upcoming games ahead just means we will have to reload, not rebuild as we will no doubt be a serious contender statewide for years to come. Can you honestly say that about Lumberton...who knows? We very may well lose again this year however it won't be at the hands of the Raiders. After all, we can't be expected to win State every single year...that's crazy talk man! Some of your posters (past opponents from your area that have fallen to the Coogs in years past) seem quite envious of us as I've read quite a few posts that indicate they hope you guys beat us to take us off our high horse or assume us to be cocky. When you have been as successful as our program has been over an extended period of time (In our case 21 straight years in the playoffs) and have won 5 State Championships (that's pretty phenomenal considering that 4-A has 30 districts with an average of 6-8 teams) in the past 13 years you gain confidence in your teams abilities to succeed. Rome wasn't built in a day and our kids have and meet high expectations year in/year out in order to achieve greatness and keep the dynasty they have built for us intact. You don't have to like us but you should respect our program as well as it's achievements. After all, it's no coincidence we've made it to the region 3 finals 12 out of the last 15 years...our kids earned it!
  4. Once again...is this the part where I'm supposed to say "ooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I'm shaking in my boots?" LOL!
  5. It's pretty original to Lumberton as they don't get out much come playoff time...I think this Friday takes them to a grand total of 2 instances they could actually say that?

  8. You're quite simply over matched as you guys played NO-one (3-A teams with combined records of 4-16, c'mon!) with the exceptions of Dayton and I'll give PNG a little credit however, losing 19-0 to us in the first game doesn't say too much for them. Also, you have players going both ways which will cause those fellas to get winded twice as fast chasing our speedsters around the field. I understand that it's your 1st ever playoff appearance and you're excited but this isn't our 1st rodeo folks. The level of competition that we have faced included three 5-A schools and to put the icing on the cake the combined records of your fluff schedule vs. ours was Raiders (48-65) & Coogs (68-46). Good luck but the superior team will be quite evident on the field Friday!
