I hope u are ready for that big helping of Crow Bam.  The Trojans are not going to lose this one.  I feel like we are good enough to win the State title not just good enough to win a district title.  It may a tough game that gets both teams ready for the playoffs.  Which we badly need, but Huffman is not gonna get us this year.

You have completely lost it. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D [/quote] I don't think so partner.  I played in Coldspring the years we played LaMarque and yeah they beat us, but they were also 4A state champions. Livingston and Dayton I don't believe are state title contenders in 4A.  So I do think it would be very competitive and that we could win.  No I'm not smoking nothing either.

I don't think we try to rub it in about how good we are here in Coldspring.  Not much we can really do about scores either.  The fact is we are really good and it is probably going to stay that way for a while.  I'm not sure what the deal is over in Shepherd.  I felt like Jones would be a good coach and would turn the program around.

This winning tradition in Coldspring is nothing that is new.  We had a few down years looking for the right coach.  We used to be tops in the area in 3A and now were back there again.  Just ask Kirbyville they are going through a down time now. 

I wonder they will all show up to get their crow.  Last week they could over take the Trojans for the district title.  I wonder what the story will be after this week.

47-0 Trojans at the half.

40-0 Trojans with 3:00 to till half.  I don't think Tarkington has any positive yards.

We need an update on this game bad.  With all the noise talking that went on this week.

21-0 Trojans at the end of the first quarter.

I think Huffman takes this one in a very close game.  Liberty has really improved.  Just don't think they are quite there yet.  Should be district game of the week.

Coldspring v. Tarkington Should be more of a social event for Trojan fans.  This should be over early.

I want Lake Travis to win this for Texas pride, but to also show the nation that football in Texas is the best in the country.  I would to love to see more matchups with our states top teams against other states top teams in all classifications.

It is a different mentality in Trojan land these days.  The year before the state finals we should have went much deeper.  The kids have really bought into what Coach Barbay is preaching.  I don't know if we could beat Dayton because of depth.  You can believe one thing we would give them all they want and then some.  In 96 we went down and played LaMarque after they had won State and yeah they beat us because they had like 100 guys to our 30.  We gave them all they wanted though and they knew it.  I don't think Dayton is as tough as they were.  So your just way off to say they would crush us. 

I'm rooting for Newton in this one, but Silsbee is pretty tough.  I was really surprised at what they did to Corrigan last week.  It was very impressive.

I love the big wins, but I wish we had some closer games so we could talk some noise.  It seems like 3A football is a little down in the area except for Coldspring and maybe West Orange and Silsbee.  Jasper is right on the edge of showing some real promise.  In fact we will know where their at after the West Orange game.  Other than those four teams it seems like a down year.  I can't wait for the Liberty fans to get on here and say their in the upper echelon.
