1.
A bunch of old men living through their kids and barking like a dog cracks me up!!!
I'm sure what we do looks normal to an objective outsider  :D :D
 2. It is still a big rivalry. It seems like bamakid had a claim that it is the biggest one in the state. Not sure if he was making reference to some kind of poll or article that made that claim or he was just stating his opinion. It still has all of the elements like long running, close by, both schools have great tradition, some players are 3rd and 4th generation families, almost always a game that is not necessarily won by the team that is supposed to win. Great fun, great atmosphere, kids and coaches being sick before the game from nerves. Its kind of like Texas and A&M in that if you win this game its a great season no matter what else happens.
 3. Game ran way late 17 kickoffs and 15 extra points where clock does not run. This was one great game. Central qb and his little brother should be co MVP's in this game. Indians put some offense together tonight. QB was very good. Many players on both sides leaving it all on the field. There was some hitting going on out there tonight. Congrats to the Jaguars and thanks to both teams for making my $6 money well spent.
 4.
28-21 Central End of 1st
Dont think I have ever seen 49 points scored in the 1st quarter.
 5. my 2 cents - Indian defense played better than final shows. They would give the offense the ball and some momentum and the offense would give it right back to LCM. Defense on the field the whole 1st half. 5 interceptions tonight. not taking anything away from LCM because a couple of times they went up and got the ball. one right to LCM secondary with no indian in sight, assume wrong route or QB mix up. One took a bounce right to waiting bear.  Also in my opinion defense did not quit. They kept up itensity way late in the game.  Offense could not get a rhythm. PS - to the indian players thanks for the hard work you do and have done since way back in the spring. There is still a lot of football left. Keep working and do not quit. Most of us could not now or ever do what you do. Most of us certainly could not play QB at this level. Block out the garbage and keep playing ball. It is my hope and prayer that you will be blessed in the end. ;) Oh yeah to the bears - you look very good. I hope you go places you've never been before Congratulations on a big win.
 6. This will tell you how redneck I am. Hey bamakid can you get me the number of the owner of that resort property?
 7. Bud light on the grill never tried that  ;D :D ;D :D
If I was a PNG fan I would hope so too. I would hate to know I have 4 years to watch PNG suck though. Maybe that qb who is going to make his first varsity start will be your savior though.
Reminds me of quote from Churchill - to lady who said you're drunk he replied yep and you're ugly but tomorrow I'll be sober and you'll still be ugly. I will always be PNG fan. I can handle a bad season or 4. I don't comment on here a whole lot but I did think SC was very very good and it looks like in this case I was right or at least close enough. 49 to 21
 9.
WOS 4 fumbles leads to a HF dominating win.
it would have to be 14 fumbles

Big Ed did a good job as OC, heard Cornel all night on Ned side.
I wish Ed all the best. He is a fine young man. I dont know about his coaching skills but he has all the intangibles that help people succeed in life.
I dont expect you to give up your honey hole but where are you catching these on rattletraps and was that a rattlesnake in your pics. We fished off the Humphrey pier for 6 hrs on 7/31 for 6 hrs from 9 till 3 am and caught nothing using rattle traps live shrimp, mullet, shad, and croakers. we didn't catch enough to make decent gravy. Tide was moving out and then it got still and started back in.
The honey hole is a private pier on Pleasure Island.  Wednesday through Friday were unbelievable for slot reds.  It started to slow down Saturday and the last couple of nights have been slow(I wasn't there but that is what I am told).  My son went last night to a different pier, but since they got in at 3 a.m., I don't know how they did. We caught fish on everything we threw.  Rattletraps seemed best, but it didn't really matter when the were boiling the water for 1/2 an acre in front of the pier. We thought that was a rattler when we ran over it.  turns out, it was a bull snake.    Really hated to kill it once I found out what it was.
Okay thanks. i think we're going back tonight. I was told that the concrete steps by the marina is a good place this time of year. We're rookies in the grand scheme of things but my 14 yr old loves to fish biting or not. I might try the spoon with a trailer suggested by i think 'liltex' Pray for our success.
 16. Gabby Douglas is pure gold in every way, just have to say anyone complaining about her hair needs to get a life. I like what one commenter said on a national web site.  'she had hair' I couldn't see past here smile. I wouldn't care if her hair was a buzz cut and dyed purple. She was awesome.

 18. I think this is an interesting question. I would think the guys could cross over, especially Coach K. now what about a woman crossing over to men's like say coach Mulkey at Kansas.
 19. Lamb is a lot of fun to watch. He has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. I think his speed is deceptive. He plays with no fear. I watched him warming up before the SLC final and he was focused like no one I've seen. I hope he has a huge game.

I've worked for 1.40 /hr,but $125,000 wont pay for their travel expenses. Which leads to another beef of mine. Go to Dayton and win then you get to travel to NC and play them in a 'home' game while NC gets to hang round their home court for 3 days and get ready. Why not make LU  or Vermont wear ankle weights during the game too. Hey I am the eternal optimist, stay till the bitter end, hope against hope kind of guy. It will be a historical win comparable to the shot by Laetner?sp and the win by NC state if they(LU or Vt.) beat NC.
Wow!!! Travel costs more than $125,000??  Is BISD scheduling this trip???
I believe the NCAA pays travel expenses.
If the NCAA pays expenses, good deal didn't know that. As far as BISD scheduling that is too funny. I didn't really think it would cost 125,000 but I did think by the time you deduct travel costs it would take a big chunk of the money. To my budget it would be a lot of money to Lamar university its not much.
