Warren did not get the win against sabine pass. The sharks could not return on saturday because of other reasons so they had to bow out but they won 6 - 4. It was a good game. By the  way willis you are doing a good job keep it up. seriously.

ought to be pretty good. If warren hits they ball the way they are capable of and i hardin plays the way they have in the past it should be good.

The kid from SP is fine he passed out with some equilibrium problems but is perfectly ok now and ready to go, but with the scares going on about the kids around the state getting hit im glad this was minor.

The Sharks played well friday versus the Warren Warriors. They came out with the victory 6 to 4 on the bat of Casey Carlos and the arm of Casey Hagen. I think that will give others in the district something to think about. Good Job Sharks.

Coach Thibodeaux from Sabine Pass was awarded Coach of the Year for 1A Football. The sharks won there first district game in several years and drug themselves out of the cellar. This was no easy feat with the trials that school has gone through over the past 1 1/2. Only good things in the future for the Sabine Pass Sharks. Good Job Coach Thibodeaux

Bagwell choked the first few time in the playoff sbut look up his last healthy year in the playoffs. Wasnt bad. By the way the other years he was their he had no protection in the order. That can get you by in the regular season but in the playoffs when all you see is the aces day in a nd day out that wont work. Im proud to be a bags fan and i hope he make s the hall he deserves it in a time when he could have definetly left and made tons more money he stayed with the team that showed faith and a fan base that will always be l;oyal. thanks  Jeff

I guess the spinnerbait is the most versatile so that is the bait i would chose. But my favorite bait lately has been the different creature baits for flipping, regular texas rigs, and carolina rigs. I ve just been doing real good with them the last two years. Examples: sweet beaver, baby brush hog, nories bug, etc.

I agree with you on those issues but i got married three years ago and gave up salt water so that i could concentrate on my family and bass fishing. Always seems like they are trying too hard to come up with something new for rules on saltwater. liscense for this tag for that and so on. Ill stick to my lakes for now and thats really a shame cause i grew up in port acres and used to stay at sabine lake or the beach. Good luck on those snapper. By the way i still wont eat a big bass just my philosophy. Beside the smaller ones tastes better anyway.

I wasnt challenging what you did but people now like pngproud keep those big fish and in the future that wont be good. I keep fish too but if im catching them i put back the big ones and keep those that are 14 - 16 inches. If you catch a good one you are thinking of putting on the wall it is better to get some measurements and pictures and let it go. A replica is cheaper and last a lot longer. You cant tell the difference. But do what you will I think more and more people are doing the right thing and taking care of our lakes and their fish populations. I m going this weekend and ill make sure i let yall know about those bigguns i catch and let mother nature have back. Good luck and may the lakes be calm for you.

Hey Tvc i bet yall kept those fish back then too didnt you. just think 30 good fish off the lake. and they wonder why are lakes cant keep up with those of cali and bama and others. Yes we have some big fish but we used to be the big dog on the street and now just another lake people like. people need to take fish sparingly. like taking those 14 or 15 inchers and leaving the big ones. remember big fish breed big fish just a fact of nature.

10.25 on a little lake called lake jacksonville. Ive caught others around 8 and 9 on rayburn and toledo but nothing like the other. I was in college up there and i caught him on a baby torpedo in 92. i was funny.

hey coop not to be sarcastic but i disagree on the idea that its not a great time of year for bass. This time is the best time if you want a shot at those big ones. They are getting nice and full of eggs while preparing for the spawn. those 5 pounders are now about 6 or 7 and when you find them they are stacked together. The reason people think that its not the good time of year is because they are scared of a little cold weather and its not as easy to catch them as it is in the spring when a lot of want a be anglers show up on the lake and hurt the fish population by taking out those volnerable fish that are spawning and even a blind man can catch. Remember in the spring that catch and release is the only way to go.

Hey Swingbuild. I am a student of the swing myself only not on the level some of you have shown and i have a question. All of these swings are different approaches yet really the same when broken down. The question i have is on a 1a level when the kids have limited time, because they participate in everything , for practice or to truely dedicate themselves to the sport what is the most important aspect to concentrate on when teaching them to hit. I understand the concepts involved in teaching the linear and rotational ideas but in this situation unless the player has  a previous knowledge of the subject there is no way to make them understand with the limited time. After all of this the stros still have no credible leadoff man. They are a team that is stuck in the middle between rebuilding and contending. If they are going to make a run they will have to do it with 2nd and 3rd year players and unproven talent. lee and berkman are solid but tell me someone else who is proven. Dont let your hometown heart strings get in the way. Cause luke is good but still not proven. ensberg does nothing but make you mad.
