We could utilize someone playing on defense that can tackle in secondary. They best get it together defensively or we won't be moving on!

You have to look at the 2009 team was not the work of Brandon Faircloth that was his first year they were the kids of Matt Burnette and staff! I know BF likes to take credit for that but all those starters were on varsity in 2008 and weren't developed by BF!

Well you see our defense what do you think? When the seniors were in these positions our defense performed a lot better! These senior players never got beat from Nederland! It's Faircloth took away some of the power we had in defense. Hammonds Bost Alec and Mobley can't do it by themselves! 

Yes anyone that knows this group of kids from the time they were little know there are several starters from 7thgrade on isn't starting their senior year which is crazy! You have Wiggins that is 6'5 and 195 pounds sitting the bench! When chuck Langston was here for spring training he had Wiggins and Callais both on defense starting! It's crazy! Like I said Faircloth gets what he deserves not playing the kids that need to be starting for defens! We could have utilized Wiggins size on defense!

By the way Callais has always started on defense since 7th grade but this year is sitting the bench on varsity doesn't make sense to me! He isn't the only one on defense this has happened to lefort quit seeing what Faircloth was gonna do on defense! He was another one that this team always had as one of the lb! This team has slaughtered Nederland since 7th grade and they get to seniors and can't beat them doesn't make sense to me but they are out coached and some key positions have changed to underclassmen that shouldn't be there!f by the way I don't have a son on the team actually a daughter but watched this team since they were little and they had the talent to pull off a victory! Feel sorry for the kids! Faircloth got what he deserves once again! The boys didn't deserve this!

Roschon played his heart out but how much can you run one horse! He did amazing and I say Roschon helluva player but we had others on the team that could have carried some of the load! Why wear one player out! He is going to get him hurt! I would be worried about that if I was his parents! Faircloth loves his QBs but he has to realize they can't do it all! Deslatte had two great carries and then never got his hands on the ball it's been like that all season! Hope Faircloth gets his head out of the sand and does something above the defense! I know Callais should be starting he could have done so much better on defense! The kid plays with all heart but faircloth doesn't like his dad and it is known! In scrimmages at the beginning of season played fantastic and Gaitlin saw it but faircloth would tell them to play the other kid! Can't play politics need to play the kids that earn the spot by potential not by who has the money!

We were outplayed defensively! We have struggled with our defense all year just never played a team to show our team weaknesses until memorial and Nederland! Sorry but faircloth buckles every year playing Nederland what saved us last year is Simmons got hurt! Put these same boys with burnette and we would have went undefeated hands down! He should have ran more time out of the clock knowing we could stop the run or the pass! Not smart coaching! I have said this for years but I have never been a fan of Faircloth since 2nd year he was her and now he has gotten in the politics of some of the players he is playing! We have better talent to utilize on defense! The only sophomore that should be starting on defense is Santiago! 

Said it all year the sophomores besides Santiago couldn't cut the job on defense! To many seniors sitting the bench that should be out there! Shoot when Nederland was going for 2 he should have put stansbury Hughes ones he knew could tackle besides the ones that don't tackle! Worth the risk!

Roschon hands down is the best player in 225a and 215a but you have to have help from defense! He can't control that!

No but we have struggled with defense all year! We just haven't really played anyone but memorial that could really run! I knew going in this game Simmons would give us problems like he did last year and the only reason we won last year was Simmons got hurt! It kills me to say that as I am die hard fan but also realist! Faircloth gets out coached every year against Nederland. There is no way we should have lost this game we have talent on the team not only Roschon but faircloth did not utilize our receivers and deslatte enough. There is no way we should have only scored 7 point on the board first half! He should have ate more time of the clock on our last drive! Poor coaching in my eyes! We had all the talent with Hughes stansbury Riggs and deslatte! No excuses hands down Nederland came out and played ball again Faircloth didn't make smart choices on pooch kick when Riggs can kick out of end zone every time! Shoulda coulda woulda let's move on but I hope Faircloth is realizing our defense needs help and he is gonna run shrug in the ground when he has others that can help him. Much respect for shug is one hell of a Baller!

Very well said money always talks and buys your kids a spot if you have enough to pump in! Very sad to the kids like Callais that knows he is the better player and should be playing hands down! 

I hope they work on the defense this week and make the adjustments! Said all season Callais should be starting!

Deslatte had two good runs but then never gave him the ball after that! The passing game was non existent which we have done so well all season! Bottom line our offense couldn't catch a break with defense not being able to stop them. Roschon did his job. Faircloth should have worked that clock knowing our defense wouldn't stop them! Two extra points back to back.

I am just asking why the field was so muddy when it hasn't rained in a while! Our cheerleaders didn't do their normal introduction because it was so muddy and wet! 

We have kids that can play defense the coaches just don't play them! mike arnaud is one of the best defensive coaches we have but they don't utilize him either! Port neches had the talent just out coached. Doesn't teach kids to wrap up when tackling! Hope we adjust defensively.

We as PNG fans appreciate what he gives to the team and school. It is good to see a kid with his talent not be cocky and constantly work to improve himself. He is a leader on and off the field. I will always be a fan no matter where he goes.

Deslatte ran the ball three times and had two good runs! he is a talented kid but doesn't get utilized much! 

Bottom line we got out coached again we had the better talent but we always change the playbook for Nederland instead of doing what has worked for us all year!

You are exactly right and Faircloth doesn't like Callais dad speaks up to him so he won't start the kid but they should be on that defense! Just hope the coaching staff makes adjustments before next round!

Hands down to Roschon he played his heart out! Nothing for him to be ashamed of he did his job well! 

I said all season we have seniors like Callais Wiggins that can play defense but the coaches consistently play kids that can't do the job as well as the seasoned seniors! Faircloth got out coached! He should have ran more time off the clock knowing we couldn't stop the run!

I think the best team we had was Dustin Long 99 state team! We were strong in every area! Defense was great along with offense and special teams! 

anytime these two teams get on the field it's always a great game! I do believe our defense needs to wrap up on their tackles! We will be ready for Nederland but Nederland will come out to play! let's hope Faircloth stays strong in plays that is called! He always seems to get out coached against Nederland! 

Central always plays us a good game! png defense better get ready! they looked better tonight! 

Vidor always comes out and gives us a run for our money. in the first half if we cant stop the run it will br neck and neck. we are a different defense than last year. this team of vidor beat us a couple of times in 9th and JV years. The thing that will save us again is our offense like it did in Memorial game.
