OK are you telling me this is the best PNG team you have seen in the last 10 years? I agree you are much improved from last year, but how good do you think you really are. Are you predicting a district championship? Oh by the way the rankings change like the wind! ;D No, just simply saying that respect doesnt get you wins. PNG has played 5 games, and are perfect thus far. With that said, we have not put together a complete 4 quarters yet. If we do, the district will have problems with us....if we dont, we will have problems with the district. Just depends. From what I have seen, our team is good and can be great, but we are very undisciplined......which hurts a lot.

You respect doesnt really matter. People respecting you doesnt give you wins. Besides, the state AP and the Beaumont Enterprise respect us more than anyone else in this area.

Who has won the last 2 out of 3 years?

Interesting, but doesnt make sense. Which team in the district has been more consistent than Nederland with playoff runs? Which team in the district was the last to make a state championship appearance. Man, some people dont think before they speak. You Vidor and Lumberton fans crack me up. You put together a descent season or two (for Lumberton, not Vidor), and your the new kid in town. Last I checked, Vidor hadnt won a game in district play, just like Nederland.

That doesnt make any sense at all...so if you arent from Lumberton or Vidor, does that game mean anything??? Heck, why even have a game of the week if it doesnt matter to anyone living outside of those districts?

I want a $100 parlay on: PNG giving 9.5 Lumberton getting 2 Barbers Hill giving 8 LCM getting 6.5 Silsbee getting 9

I posted a thread Friday night, that welcomed LCM to 4A and told Vidor fans what happens when they play someone without the abbreviations "St." in front of their name. The thread, for the 5 minutes it lasted touched some nerves (did what it was meant to do). All it was just poking fun at their schedules and talking about how tough our district is. The thread quickly got deleted. However, I see plenty of threads on here bashing PNG, their schedule, and what is to come for them. As a matter of fact, there is a thread right now titled "For all you PNG fans that think your so good", which has 40 something replies to it.......so it has apparantly passed the "its ok" test. I'm not complaining about the thread and do not want it deleted, we are big boys and can handle it. I was just wondering why the double standard?

I should make that my sig....that is one of the most retarted things I have ever read. Please dont tell you mean this....cause if your still around in the next ten years, I want to pull this out 5 or 6 times.

By the way, I must mention that Deron was thrown to TWO times tonight and had TWO good catches.....thats just unreal to me.

This not only was a very bad called game....mainly by the back judge, but they came at very expensive costs...potentially game changing events...everytime. Third downs and Fourth downs....very fishy!!!! Especially the late hit on the ball that was tipped in the air. Whats the defender supposed to do, let the receiver go back for the ball? Secondly, the fumble, horrible call. The runner slid for two yards before the ball came out...ridiculous and expensive penalties. I'm not even going to mention the 12 men on the field and the kicker running into defender....i mean the defender running into the kicker.

I heard rumors at work today that a bunch of kids from LCM's football team had the flu. Hopefully that is just a rumor, cause we want the best they have.....not to mention I dont like seeing people get sick. Has anyone heard anything about this?

When is the last time yall ran over WOS and how many times have you been ran over by them? PNG hasnt played WOS since they have become a 3A school. But, I would say in the past couple of season, WOS had some teams that would beat PNG. As for now, I think PNG could beat them, not run over them though.

Time for the Bears to fall back into their normal position after this week. This is not the Ivy League you have been playing in anymore.

PNG would have beaten by many teams if they performed like they did against Barbers Hill. PNG offense was horrible that game, so that is not a good one to compare to. But, if they play like they did in that game.....we wont win many games.

I just cant wait until Vidor plays a real team and finally drops waaaaay down on the list. I think you guys read too many preseason magazines....but oh well, I enjoy looking at the ratings every week.
