  1. LUMBERTON SUCKS AGAIN....JAGS ARE REAL DEAL! LUMBERTON BLOWS THE WHISTLE ON THE JAGS...LOSING 63-14 JAGS STEAL THE GAME AND THE RAIDERS HEART!
  2. I'm gonna go out on one here and predict the upset....PATS 28 BH 24
  3. I like this...it's short and sweet! GO JAGS! ....I tried to tell y'all about that "STAR" Charlie Thomas coming to the Offense on the G-Ball thread...we'll keep getting better....look out 20-4A...Jags on back to claim what's theirs...A District Title....one game at a time! ;D
  4. Along with that, I think the Jags have matured more! They seem to be ready for business! We'll see! I'll be there to watch em take care of business! GO JAGS!
  5. Jags are gonna punish the L-Train! Jags will have to play in a tough atmosphere! But I do expect the win! Jags by 2TDs 28-14
  6. Central JV won 3-2....they had a 2 scores through the air and one on the ground! Their huge WR...Olgtree finally made a big play! This kid is 6'4'' with good speed! He snagged a reception on their D and went 50 yds for the score! The young guys look good! The Freshman lost to the Brook 4-1...they'll keep getting better since they haven't had a lot of practice time b/c of the evacuations!
  7. Bold statement there Claw! Don't think it'll happen....Jags have tooooooo much speed! I hope it is a 35-10 game but I wouldn't be surprised if it were closer. We need to punch it in more...we are offensively avg around 2 offensive TDs a game...we need to blow em out! Sorry Bear Fans!
  8. Yes Sir! He's been a big lazy sucka...and Co is trying to get him right! He missed the 1st couple of games along with a few others as a part of their extra conditioning! They gotta be in shape and he's still hurting! He could be tough if he stays low! ;D
  9. Sorry, been busy...haven't had a chance to post till now! I told you....there would be a "STAR" on the Offense! : Charlie Thomas can run the rock! And he's been a better reciever....he'll fix it for next game! Man did you see that Jag OL blow up their D! WOW!
  10. I talked to some people who remembered Central fans were given parking tickets at the Vidor game in 05....
  11. Look at what those Jags can do to help a team win! I like it!
  12. I know a couple of folks at GC...they run the Pistol! They might not win...but I will say it won't be a blowout! They are tough and will only get better!
  13. great post here revenge chris is a great guy and doesnt get the credit he deserves most of the time he is the glue that is holding the pirates together and his completion percentage is 100% by the way ;D ;D ;D dont think ill be able to pull off red, as i think we are painting up for the game Chris is a great kid and an awesome leader on the field. He has great skills at QB, but he does not have a 100% completion percentage. Here is his stat line according to the Beaumont Enterprise: Passing Name Comp Att Pct Yds TD INT Chris Teinert 2 10 20 21 0 1 Getcha Popcorn Ready! Cuz Dem Jags gonna have him on his back all night long! This is the 1st step to bringing back to district title!
  14. No doubt...it has always been tough playing in Vidor...they got lucky not having to come to Babe! Game might be a little closer! The last time we played there...the RB's grandfather had the field name after him and the RB had a heck of a game gaining 186yd on the ground! That was the game which Brandon Williams had to lead us down the field with under a minute left for the game winning score. Just thinking about that game makes me shiver! WHOA! It'll be a good one!
  15. They've had good O-Lines for a while now, Co Matthews is a heck of a coach (and a great guy too) and they have always thrown the kitchen sink at the Jags and Stowers for the last couple of seasons...but I think this is the most physical Offense we've had and I don't know if the Pirates are ready for that! The Defense is going to be stout on both sides! Jags 21 Vidor 10
  16. Teachers and staff will be back on the 24th and 25th....Let's see if we can get these kids back, so we can get on w/ some football! District officials should be calling for a meeting real soon! Since most teams were susposed to start district this week...will we see a change like in 05 (Rita) with the remaining schedule?
  17. Not so fast there Bucko! (Lee Corso) The entire D was not pulled untill the two last drives of the game. The only changes made to the defense was the two Defensive Tackles....YeaH
  18. by the time png and central play nov 7(possibly for the DC), both teams will be at full speed.. there will be no thumping on either side my friend.. but since u bring up 2006, lets bring up last season PNG-42 Central-21 Thump That was the the second most points that we put up last year even thought we was down. Nevertheless, OUCH!!! That is because your coach finally got his head outta his beeeep, and put Hall at running back. Had he been there all year, ya'll woulda been totally different. What are you talking about? Hall was at RB all hear... :-\ Well, excuse me, I didnt know that. But, against PNG, he didnt go to running back until it was already out of hand. Then the Central O came alive. He was running wild. He ran Ok..in fact he coughed one up against y'all! Now the year before...he torched y'all! You and I are on the same page...he should have been more of a player than he was...but a lot of that was on him! He'll always be my boy and I'm not saying anything here I haven't already said to him!
  19. They were there against PA and the LM scrimmage...however as I stated in an earlier post...Stowers used his nickel package against the spread teams...during the Lamarque scrimmage we were real vanilla and didn't show a whole lot! (I know you already knew that)...remember PA was held to 150 total yds...only 74yds rushing for the team! Dude! I said there is no star at RB and you said I will see a star this week... Then I asked was there a kid missing in the first two games... And you went back to defense... ??? I am confused... Like I said Central does not have a star RB! My bad, Cat Daddy...I assumed you meant defense! As far as the "STAR," I can't tell you anymore! I gotta get those juices running...anticipation...you know, the curiosity that kill that cat

What are you talking about? Hall was at RB all hear... :-\ I was at the PNG vs Central game last year and Stowers had Hall playing WR the entire first half. It wasnt until at some point in the 3rd Qtr that Hall lined up at RB. It wasnt a suprise that Central started putting up some points after that. I feel like Lee Corso.."Not so fast there Bucko," Hall scored a TD in the 1st quarter at RB (I think he had two for the game)...and he played that position all season long...He was an H-Back...Hybrid dude...WR-slash-RB-slash-QB-DB. Maybe it was too much for him or as I already know...he was more concerned with other things! Hall was apart of the reason for our sluggish play! He's a great young man who didn't "Git R Dun!" nope. He played a few snaps at RB in the 1st half including a TD run but 95% of his plays were at WR. call it a hybrid or whatever you want but he wasnt behind the QB playing RB consistantly until the 2nd half of the ballgame. Because he didn't hit the hole downfield! He wanted to stretch and bounce everything! That was the reason they moved to the Offense they were in against Dayton, PNG, and Ozen which was a precursor to what they do now! After he broke that ankle in 2006...he wasn't the same kid! Just look at what he did in track!

  22. It was a joke... b4 we played y'all, he'd only had one game...
  23. I knew that would draw one of you Westenders in!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D
  24. I feel what you're say Short...but I can't agree on all parts there! Yes the OL was very young and inexperienced! They had 3 juniors (two of which were 1st time varsity players) and 1 soph (the center)...so I can give you that. I thought the zone read was a good offense to run, just the QB tried to force so things...I think he felt, he need to takeover the game rather than manage it. This years dude was too immature last season...he's done some real growing up over the summer and right now show that even it Spikes would have stayed...Richard would be the man! I'll give you a little inside info...if we play this week...expect to see a star in the backfield!
