yup I hate that we called off the dogs in the third quarter. I was hoping for a  50 spot but it didn't happen. Hate that we had an injury to both sparks and halfin. But Runnels proved he is more than ready to get a piece of the pie. Sophomore runs hard and makes things happen. Time to get youngsters in there and get some playing time. im still upset about their first touchdown, caught our defense with their pants down  on that play, smh. you are right though on saving us a trip. Turnovers hurt yall, but I do think that GCM played a good physical game. If Sparks would not have concussed yalls night would have been a lot worse, im sure he would have went over 200 yds in that game. there was no answer for him early. Good luck to yall the rest of the way, 4 th place is up for grabs, make the most of it.

You have every right to be proud of your team and you should be proud of those young men.
As far as the streak....that IS something these young men have done and at this time are still doing for over three years, Nederland fans should have pride in that and be vocal about it. These are our boys that have done this. But it should be done with class and respect.

And the Vidor game??? Its not about the crow, its just about how hard up you are for Nederland to lose. I give several of the PNG posters props, at least they have been reasonable, NDNation, Biaplayer, Prepballfan... And others, but you just seem to be aimlessly begging without a good basis.

By Far this is the most important game of the year for both teams... this game will more than likely determine seeding.  Winner, more likely gets Humble, KP or Crosby, Loser gets power house C.E. KING. Good luck to both teams

Not beating my chest it is a great group of kids for Port Neches FYI. If you say it is a bad year for Nederland so be it.regardless yall not gonna continue your district win streak that yall are bragging on so much. If central doesn't get yall we will. No excuses just results! Breaks my heart to tell you this but this young team won't be done this year, they returning for next year also. So if it takes a loss to png as having a bad year for nederland, then I guess your gonna have a bad year. :-)

Nederland suffers their second two game losing streak of the season. The jags on 10-10 end the DAWGS district winning streak. Also on 10-17 the indains handle the DAWGS in the MCM. So theirs my future predictions. An don't worry........ you didn't have to ask.

Not for me to say but if you can score why not score? that is why they play the game. I have no problem with them putting up numbers like that. Have to agree there was a defense on the other side of the ball, just not a good one. I am anxious to see Central and NED get it on , and also PNG to go head to head with these two. Just so I can see how our defense does against them. To this point with the exception of WOS we have not been tested in my opinion. The next two weeks will be the deciding factor in how the district should turnout. Time to open up the playbook and the trick plays, im ready for some fake punts, onside kicks, hook and ladder type stuff.  I wanna see how creative these coaches can get and who wants it the most. Will somebody do it I don't know but it will be fun to watch.

we still have a kicking problem across the tracks, poor blocking up front = blocked extra points. Not happy with ours at all. To me  he looks like he is only kicking from 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage, should be
7 yards. Don't know if this is intentional or not. Havent really payed that much attention to it but seems to happen on a regular basis. on special teams we pooch kick, just don't like kicking to the opposing teams star running backs. you would think our coaching staff would kick away from the star players after scouting them. so far the strategy has worked, but the idea of giving them field position at the 40,45, 50 on a regular basis is bad for business. I would rather see them kick the ball deep and pin em back about the 20, 25, maybe the 30.

Think the score will be higher than that, im thinking more like 42-38 central. But I will probably be wrong as usual lol

One game at a time, and take no opponent for granted. Some of our fan's get big headed and think we're going to destroy everyone we play. Anyone can be beaten on any given night. GCM is no different.

I am excited to see the PNG defense work against this team. It's obvious we have improved on that side of the ball from past years, but I feel their only real test this year has been WOS. I think this will be a good game for them. I'm going to say no blowout, but Indians win by 14.

Don't put much stock into the rankings, its all hogwash. Just go out and take care of the little things, and the big things will take care of their selves. Noone cares what cougar14 thinks. If we all listened to him we there would be no reason to take the field against crosby, they have too much D-1 talent and run up a 1000 yards a game.I ll be the first to admit the yards they put out last year was rediculously mad sick, but only to get knocked out second round.amazing what 1 injury can do late in the season.
