class act all the way. i am looking forward to the friday night game between memorial and the jags, nothing like watching a good game to get me ready for the trip to san antonio the next morning. It doesnt matter that we are representing our area it could be anyone of the teams just as long as we get a win and let them know why this area is feared by the other regions in the state lol. i just hope the ndns represent well and foremost noone gets hurt. i bleed purple baby but im not scared to watch other teams in the area go at it either, even though they are rivals of now or years past, week 0 is upon us and i dont think i will be getting much sleep  lol

lets face it guys vidor is no dayton, shouldnt even be brought up in the same sentence. lol Maybe WOS looked this good because Vidor may not have it this year. I cant wait to see how wos and ned square off next week, as for vidor it is still early so i guess they do have time to make some adjustments and get it together. good luck to both teams

how anyone could say that we were ranked anywheres in the nation defensively is beyond me lol. You people put too much stock into rankings especially from DC. I  like not being ranked at all myself, but as far as rankings go i think dayton will be ranked right up there with the best of them. I am ready to get the show started

wow lol i guess silsbee let lcm know that they prefer tackle in silsbee rather than playing touch football during the summer lol. I guess lcm found out that it is alot different when it is 11 on 11 with full contact action, well good thing is wos rolled vidor so maybe it will be a 3 way tie behind ozen for that final playoff spot. i figured lcm would have at least put some points up offensively goes to show what i know. Well cant wait to see the indians against memorial should be good prep for us i know memorial should have some beasts at running back. congrats to silsbee for getting their act back together from last week, good luck to lcm see you fellas soon.

well actually we didnt have any trouble beating them the last time i looked we won???? lol this is a new year im not worried about central till it is time to play them in week 11. as a matter of fact i am pulling for them until then because i would like to see both of us undefeated going into that game although that is highly unlikely. heck from what i hear you are gonna have your hands full yourself lol

you  gotta  be kidding me brenham taking their foot off the gas, wtf ever, lol who has ever said their team stopped playing because they thought the game was in hand in  a playoff game. They had no answer in the second half just as we had no answer in the first half, it was a good game but just because we were down one cornerback doesnt mean that they could have thrown on us all night believe me if they could have then they woulda, it wasnt there!!!! Some say they went to a prevent  call it what you want if that was a prevent then they need to go back to the drawing board, because they had no answer for the passing game.  There is no way any brehnam fan cant say that they werent on the edge of their seats when we drove 93 yards in less than a min and scored kicked an onside kick and recovered it and was on the verge of one hell of a comeback, come on tell me im lying. Anyway that was last year and brenham didnt win the big one either so that brings us back to the point its a new season and its time to do it again, as for as arguing with anyone on this board it is all opinions and i wouldnt have a problem sitting and watching a game with any of you win or lose it doesnt matter the only thing that matters now is it is FOOTBALL season now, and just for the record soulja1 you werent even at that but whippin game when your jags shut us out, as far as the brawl it was unneccessary but it happended and nothing lost there just a great rivalry in the making.

well did wos finally get it in the endzone or what. Sounds like Dayton was primed and ready and wos wasnt on the same page. Good first scrimmage but doesnt mean nothing until real season starts, curious to see what dayton does to nederland or viceversa next week and anxious to see how my ndns do against the running game of memorial

thanks oldrock you are doing a fine commentary keep up the good work, i wanted to go watch just to see how both teams looked, but with your play by play coverage i am getting the impression that dayton is either really good or wos just not clicking either way keep it coming.

well anyway you look at it , it is a practice but usually you have two portions the controlled part and the game time simulations, yes they do score on each other but we all know it is about bragging rights as to who did what , come  on guys and gals it is all about egos and you know it.  regardless of the outcome it gives the coaches a chance to evaluate whom is gonna be the right fit at the right position. but in two weeks we really get an idea about what is going on. I already got some phone calls about ned whipping up on fort bend, whom i have also found out are pretty much cellar dwellars in their district, so if this is some kind of indication ned is gonna blow up this board whereas it has been pretty quiet from them over the last couple  weeks. i think they will get a true test when they scrimmage dayton, until then we shall have to wait and see. i can see some good discussions coming my way lol  ::) ::) ::)

well what about the offense how did they move the ball against the defense or did the defense score the 2 tds?

so there was only one score that being vidor on the last play???

Sounds like to me Silsbee needs a QB?????? two scores to nothing i wouldnt call dominating sounds like the tigers are headed for a losing season

that is one thing that you can say about nederlands coach Neuman, he isnt scared to bring up the youngsters, the only thing that i can say negatively is that some of his kids go both ways and that to me hurts them in the long run because they get tired as the game goes on, at least that is how it seemed to appear last year, they played us tough in the first half and it got onesided as the third and fourth quarter came and went.

what are you talking about earning their respect week after week , lol they hate us statewide lol. when we beat everyone it is expected of us, but when we lose to them then they are invincable and want to recollect on how they gave us  our first loss at the new res lol. btw where is that lionsfan at he never commented on whether or not he wanted to take my bet. well seeing how gonzales is going to be a 3 year starter whereas Doty is just a two year starter if i had to pick one or the other i still pick Doty, just my choice seeing as he won more games as a junior!! But it really doesnt matter who is the better one in our minds it will be decided when we face each other in a few weeks. It was a good game last year, and i think it will be a good game this  year.  Even though Harmon had a career game against the bears i think the passing game was there if we needed it, and as for Bertrand well we shall see how he does also when it is his time to shine, just to let you know noone knew that harmon was a stud his junior year because he was playing fullback in front of Josh Wright who was basically a flop his senior year compared to his junior year. So just maybe all you nonbelievers better take head as to what you will soon be chasing up and down the sidelines.

honestly why would someone from png go vandalize your practice field, honestly i thought that was a cow pasture. Why would anyone practice on a field made over a parking lot, dont make since. to tell you the truth it was probably a ned fan who did that. Evidently it had to do with school colors, awe the pressure of the black and gold, but the last time i heard the football team brings in money for the school district and the band does what?  So why would the football team have to sacrifice for the sake of the band. Just dont see it.

well it is nice to know that lcm is loaded, just so you know png is loaded and double loaded so this should be an explosive game, glad it is at home though lcms stadium on visitors side is entirely too small and the announcer is totally biased kind of amusing though, his famous line i can hear it now " and that is another battling bears first down " lol man that was so annoying lol

who the heck is Barnett, I thought the ex-coach Was Burnett what was i thinking lol. Well i think it is Faircloth now and what was in the past is in the past, this is now and we shall see. Burnett tried to impliment the spread for what i thought was maybe one game, it didnt work so he went back to the ground and pound method that was his bread and butter.  I dont know where he got his game plan for the spread but it wasnt a plan that worked.  We didnt have the staff nor the know how to make it work but we have a darn good coaching staff now that is more than able to get the job done.

yes i hear from little birds that the first string defense has been giving the first string offense fits when going head to head, i think the defense is gonna be very strong in its second year under the new defensive coordinator. As for the offense well i hear they are changing things up a little adding a little more mojo to the punch. Should be interesting to say the least, just a few more weeks till we prove it on the field.

San Antonio on Saturday, but on Friday it is a toss up between central and memorial, which i am leaning on a cental victory, then possibly nederlan vs WOS, see how the stangs look havent watched one of their games in person in a while, probably just flip a coin.

hey now let him speak his mind, he is entitled to express his opinion, im a grown man and i can take it, but lets face the truth here, he is just upset because we own Crosby and have spanked their behinds just about every time we have taken the field with them. And as i said before, we have no talent, no speed,  we are too small yada yada yada, BUT we Have your teams # < that i dont have to tell you  because you already know. If that is the best you can do is hope for a win then you are already beat, and as for my spelling used for broken Crosby slang well if that is how you speak then by all means go back to school.
