1. i think most fans would be happy with 8-4 and 9-3 records in any conference (southland or sunbelt)...but if LU wants to make the $$$..i think it would better to take an FBS conference invite, if we get one...
 2.
Jasper and Silsbee go big school next year and WOS will be small school unless bridge city doesnt make playoff then WOS goes big school
i thought BC had more students than wos now?
 3.

Navasota so called great D just gave up 20 points to lamarque and if not for a turnover inside the 5 yard line it would have been at least 26!!!! So y'all can be scored on, it's been proven. So please don't throw your defense in the same league as ours and we won't throw our offense in the same league as yours! I believe this will be an extremely close game the entire night and that the game will come down to special teams and turnovers! This is why I believe wos wins this game. I give us an edge in the return game and in the turnover battle. Standing by my prediction of 17-14 stangs!
No one is claiming to be in the same league as WOS when it comes to defense.  However, when comparing offenses, I will give Navasota a huge edge.  Navasota's defense is good enough to get the job done... BTW, 2 of those LM touchdowns came on Rattler turnovers.
i agree with u and give navasota the edge in offense...and just like u think the navasota defense is good enough to get the job done, which im sure they are, i think our offense is good enough to get the job done too...point being, like i said earlier, special teams could be huge in this game... 8)

And they haven't seen potent offenses and shut them down like WOS. That's what makes WOS elite
Neither has WOS... And, WOS is far from having a potent offense...  We get that WOS has a good defense... But what about other aspects of the game..offense, special teams, etc, that doesn't make WOS Elite...  See ya Friday!
special teams could be a huge factor in this game...would love to see those stats, from both teams, from their playoff games...
 5. 2 good teams...navasota is capable of beating wos..and wos is capable of beating navasota...imo, i think this game will come down to who makes the most mistakes...and who capitilizes on those mistakes

And I mean double crossed and dotted. We won't forfiet anything over one person no matter how good they are. We haven't made it this far with scrubs. We'll be fine. Not saying he is a scryb because I believe differently but we have made it 11-0 with 7 shut outs with our current roster.
I agree!  ;)
i agree too! im sure the young man is very talented...but i think it too late in the year to be changing the team chemistry up now...
 7.
I am shocked at Coach not blaming the fans for his team not winning last night ???....Seriously, is there any hope for next year? Or should I just not even waste my time? Will we be 4-8 or 5-7 next year with wins over 3 Division III schools and the 4th over a NAIA school?  :(
i would still support the program by going to the games...i support lamar cause they are my alma mater...so for me, supporting them is never a waste of time...but with that being said just because i go to all the games doesnt mean im happy with what i see on the field...rayray should be on the hotseat every week next year.
 8. well if lamar gets the invite im sure they will take it...stay calm unlv... 8)
 9. why would rayray call out the fans? the team is terrible and i dont put the blame solely on the players...at times the team has looked unprepared this season..and that falls on coaching...sorry rayray...u will not fill the stands winning only 3-5 games a season...
 10. silsbee has a beautiful stadium...turf would make it perfect...
 11. just heard hershel sims left the team and is transferring after this semester...guess he doesnt want to run the wild ray ray anymore...lmao  :P
 12. just got my LU football tickets..and there are a bunch of seats left... :-[
 13. i have us at 5-7..and thats only if we upset mcneese...if not..were looking at 4-8  :-[
 14. i thought the concession food was actually pretty good...other than that...the team is not good...and the blame starts at the top...coaching..
 15. exactly...they care what their donors think...im an alumnus and attend every game and spend my money at the concessions but im not a big donor...they wont listen to me...maybe everyone should call the alumni that has donated money and have them put pressure on the administration to make changes...
The stadium was packed. I didn't count fans at the gate. And I would care who packed PU Stadium just as long as it was packed. Gawd, you guys would go to war to keep Lamar lowly. why there was no community outrage when Lamar dropped back down to the SLC.
why would there be outrage? the university will do what it feels is best for itself...not what is said on a message board...
Yeah, why in SETX?  Everywhere else knows why. I like to see silent fans if Baylor decides to move to the Sunbelt or SHSU tries to move back to DII., They would riot while SETX accept it and try to fool yourself with excuses,.
even if they did riot do u honestly believe that baylor or shsu would care what they're fans think?  they would do what they feel is best for their university..not the opinion of trolls on the internet..

I saw to Bobby Knight...we talked about Lamar.... isnt there a UNLV board you can go troll ?
Ouch tane. I didn't know you were so sensitive. I better use a pillow next time. Clearly we are from two schools. I remember a Lamar knocking off top 20 teams in MBB and not playing the Langston's back in the day. Yes the football team lost games, but Lamar played the Baylor's and La Tech's. You all are content with Lamar being a nobody in a nobody conference playing SFA and SHSU in a small 16k stadium.Don't get mad at me because I want to see Lamar grow to be the best. It is you all with the low expectations, no vision, can't be done, small town small school like SFA and SHSU mentality., oops, sorry tane. I was a little rough there. Here is some tissue.
a lot of games!
 20. unlv...im sure if u were to write a big donation check, the Lamar administration would be more than happy to hear what ideas you have for the school...
 21.
I read the Enterprise with amusement this morning.  The writer (can't think of his name) compares Lamar's 3rd year back at football, 2nd year in FCS classification(?), against and established program like ULL.  THERE IS NO COMPARISON!  ULL may be in the "lowly Sun Belt" but there is a big difference between the Cajuns and Lamar.  Scholarships, fans, facilities, athletic dept funds/budget, etc.  ULL is a real deal FBS program. The writer points to the McNeese win over FBS Middle Tennessee.  That can happen when a program like McNeese does not have a 10 lapse in sponsoring FCS football. My point is, Lamar fans should not be continually hard on the direction of the program.  It takes time for "start ups".  Unless.....................................you put the money into a coaching staff that can hit the ground running.  I thought Lamar was making a mistake hiring a JC coach, what, four years ago???  Should have hired a proven head coach or a top assistant from a successful program that could "kickstart" the Lamar program.  LU fans to need to get behind the program, attend games, fill the stadium regardless of who they are playing, regardless of their record. Four years ago all Lamar could do was sit on the sidelines, catch a meaningless game on TV, all the while wishing football would return to Lamar.  Well it has returned!  Embrace it, support it.
i support LU fully and attend every home game...but it is frustrating to keep taking so many beatings...i feel the same as u..the fans should come and support the LU..the games really are fun and its nice to have a college football team so close to home.
 22. well in the lamar football programs defense..ULL was a good team...but if we take the same beatings in conference this year..then yes i would start asking questions as to why we are not improving..
 23. wos and png will be another classic ballgame...good test for the stang defense...while everyone is talking about the stangs defense...im concerned about the mustang offense...after putting 2 quick touchdowns on the board early in the lcm game..the offense seemed to have a little trouble getting in sync...hopefully they will continue to improve...
