I don't know where you get this "Cook out for most of the game" stuff at. He played the entire game except for the 4th quarter when on that hit he hurt his knee. He was getting stuffed all night. Even in the first quarter Cook couldn't run right, left or up the middle. And he's a tremendous athlete! He did bust a punt return for about 60 in the 3rd q though. Watching him cut and juke sure didn't look like any injury to me. I bet you were not even at the game. Because your own Rebel fans that I have talked to said they hurt Cook on the second play. Come on Clayton Bisby you have to be blind !!! Cook did return with a sprained MCL and a big heart, played sparringly in the 3rd quarter and none in the 4th. I have the tape to prove it. Get your facts straight !!! And I know HD has way more athletes than WH. Friday night we all will see that HD is the best team in the district after we blow out WH !!! We will score a heck of alot more than 16 points !!!

Most rebel fans know down deep in side the Bobcats layed an egg against them. Heck 4 personal fouls in a row gave Evadale their last TD. Not to mention the 4 turnovers after Cook got hurt. Played again the Bobcats win. That's all a moot subject because the Rebels are the District Champs. Good job Rebels. Although I still think most true Rebel fans know the Bobcats were a harder win than the Oilers. Even without Cook for most of the game. Let's not forget WH had their star Copeland all 4 quarters. Still SHUTOUT !!!

West Hardin will be in for a long night against a very athletic and talented HD team !!! WH will be hoping they play the HD team that lost to Evadale, after playing their worst game of the year and losing last years MVP for most of the game. But they won't be !!! Besides the let down against Evadale, HD has only lost once and that was against Tenaha a top 10 ranked team. HD 35 WH 14

Tenaha has steadily improved to 8-3 in 2006 and a 10-4 run to the Division II regional finals last year in Class A. With eight offensive and nine defensive starters returning. All-State returner #5 Marlon McClure will be utilized by Tyner at quarterback, running back and wide receiver to help give his triple threat even more opportunities to handle the football. Last year McClure finished the year with a school-record 29 touchdowns. He rushed for 910 yards and 13 touchdowns, while catching 47 passes for 863 yards and 15 more scores. He averaged 18.4 yards per catch. And, if that wasn’t enough, he scored on a kick return and interception as well. That’s right, he intercepted 12 passes on the season. And although he was injured part of the year and overshadowed, Tenaha running back Cameron Choice ran for 1,219 ‘quiet’ yards, averaging 7.1-yards per carry and scored 12 TDs. He also caught six passes for 78 yards. Choice has approximately 3,500 yards for his career at Tenaha.

Tenaha has the fastest team I have ever saw !!! They have 7 or 8 players that look like clones when their on the field. I would venture to say they all run in 4.4's to 4.5's !!! Extremely fast team !!! They spread you out in the shotgun with 4 and 5 receiver sets. Then #5 McClure takes most of the snaps and runs wild with his 4.4 speed. Tenaha is easily won of the best teams in Texas !!! They should compete with Maud for the state title.

Tenaha lost to the #1 ranked 1a school Maud earlier this year. Maud 28 Tenaha 6. Maud is also the same team that knocked Tenaha out of the regional finals last year.

You will be shocked when you see Evadale in warm ups. They demand your attention,also they look very sharp and crisp when warming up. Pound for pound one of the biggest 1A teams I have saw, they have lots of players, looked like a 2A team. Evadale may not have the football power house tradition like some schools, but this year they have a hell of a team.

Why is West Hardin ranked higher than Evadale ? Evadale beat Hull-Daisetta when HD was ranked real high. Has WH beat a team that was ranked real high ? I don't think they have. Evadale will show everyone friday WH does not deserve their ranking.

Evadale has more athletes and they are better coached. Also Evadale is very disciplined and their playing at home. One player will not beat Evadale. This one will not be close.
