I watched that game. CR had really good defense at the rim and slowed the game down. So I guess a team that can do that has a chance. Still think BU would beat them by 10 or 15 in a rematch.

So how many teams in the state could beat United? Duncanville, Richardson, Kimball, Faith Family...... That's all I got off the top of my head.

Looks like Silsbee will get Carter after Christmas. You know that Carter coach wants it.

FF has like 3 kids who look to be close to 6'10. BU and FF would be a good game.

Williams is like 6'3, 240 and strong as an ox. That Dews kid ain't bad though.

He played. Silsbee put Williams on him most the night.

So BU is likely to get a shot at Madison too. Thats awesome.

Haynes is always drawing fouls on 3 point shots and just in general. Did it to West Brook last game. Also had two 4 point plays against PA. He's quite the.....uh how to put it.....foul drawer 🙂

There a reason why we played so bad in the first half? Realize that 3A label in this case is a joke, but man it looked like struggle city.

Wow that's a little closer than the first game Silsbee played.

Game was a waste of time really, but you can't always help who you play in tournaments. I guess it helps a little when you consider we got another game coming up soon.

I hope the starters are getting good rest for the next game. Looks like Silsbee and BU got a couple of poor tournament sacrifices.

Kinda late but:

Silsbee just needs to worry about being the best 4A team, nothing more. I'm sure we'll eventually take a few lumps before district. Really wish we were getting Madison first tomorrow with fresh legs and give them a good slap. That Metroplex arrogance would be off the charts if they send a 3A school down here and they win.

One of the best things about Silsbee this year so far is they're a better shooting team. Let's hope they can remain consistent with that. I'm not sure who WB's stars are suppose to be, but they definitely don't have a Yates or Arceneaux yet. They do look really intimidating though. Was a little worried the first 4 or 5 minutes of the game. Little confused as to who we play next. Someone told me it was Dallas Madison, which I guess will be Thursday? Bummer I'm likely to miss that one. We'll be getting the 3A version of the Metroplex All Stars.

Put some respect on Jayron Williams name tonight. It might not show up on the scoreboard, but he made a big impact for Silsbee under the boards. I'd be tempted to give him player of the game.

Gotta be happy where we're at considering Harris got in early foul trouble.
