It's kinda like being in the army where one guy screws up and everybody pays. In this case it is a known place where things happen all the time so the officer/officers are going on reasonable precaution and will detain anybody they think are breaking the law.

I'd let him/her sit there and have it towed. LOL I believe the have to follow a legal order.

Thet's a loaded question. I guess it just makes other folks feel safe knowing they are in a gun free zone. Phycological, I guess on both counts. Cause, I'm not sure. BTW I never hear about anyone being charged or convicted for having a gun in a bar or saloon etc

Very good point. I was off base a little about the signs being useless. I guess our intent at school and the signs is, so the law-abiding public know not to bring their lawful guns on the school grounds. A gun free zone

In schools the intent of safety is to slow a shooter etc. is to make it harder for the perp to carry out his plan. Most school shooters have a drawn-out plan and if anything changes or something makes it difficult for him to carry out his plan then chances are it won't happen. At least that's what law enforcement tells us at school. This doesn't count the kid that sneaks a gun into school. IMO

That's a good one. Not sure how to answer it other than maybe he is inciting a riot. You say the police get tired of his nonsense. Not sure if it's their decision to decide if his nonsense is breaking the law.
