Just Curious Skipper who is the one man you refer to from last year. I thought WOS had several weapons: D. Garrett, Earl Thomas, Andre Bevil, Jacoby Franks, D. Rhodes, Ronnie Dennis, and K. Leblanc. The year before when we beat giddings by four td's, I think we were based on one guy, Deon Beasley.

That 99 team was LOADED!! Gayron Allen - Oklahoma Paul Thomas - Middle Tennessee Jermaine Hope - Tulsa Micheal Ledet - Tulsa Jeff Thibedeaux - Tulsa Donald Paul - New Mexico Eric Enard - Texas Tootie Warnell was also a great player on that team!! I think we lost to Vidor, Nederland, and Lincoln, but I am not sure. That was a very talented group.

They could have Josh Smalley, Mack Brown, Joe Pa, and Bobby Bowden, and the outcome would still be the same. Stangs BIG!!!

I will definately agree with you kicker. I would love to see Toby or Mark come back as much as anybody, but this topic is going nowhere. Mustang85 you need to be hugged more or something, you have got some serious issues. I do understand that you are an ex-mustang, that goes to everygame, and I do know who you are, but please try to support our team. Your quarterbacking days are over, please try to let it go.

The worst decision in the history of Lamar University was doing away with football. I am a LU alum, and we have been mislead for years about the return of the cardinal football team. I know myself and several others have stop sending them money because of all the lies. Billy Tubbs was supposed to be helping bring that back football. Instead he has done nothing except promote a very average basketball team. P.S. Can LU please recruit players from this area, or even this state, or maybe even this country. That way you can have some kinda fan base. There is enough talent in this area to atleast fill out half a basketball roster, as well as a football roster.

I have known Toby and Mark for a very long time, and I can say without a doubt, Toby needs to be the oc at WOS. It really surprises me that Coach Hooks has let this go on so long. I hope a change is made soon, I think it is well overdue. Good Luck Mustangs!
