You are missing a salient point: Every President has these types of documents. They, "and only they", have the authority to declassify these types of documents. Stop listening to Snopes. They are more wrong than right. Vice Presidents CANNOT declassify classified documents! JoeBama had these documents "illegally" for 7 years. Not A Word about them. Then on November 2nd, someone ratted that these documents exist. But, not a word until someone, same person?, ratted 2 months later to the public that these existed. Now, they say it was inadvertent that Joebama had these documents. Seriously?! 1 maybe. But their are 3 difference places where there are many documents. Again, these places are "crime" scenes. Where is the FBI? Speaking of the raid on Trump's home: You do realize they did it to find anything they thought they could connected to Jan 6.
