But, since I trust Trump I have to feel he has a good reason for not moving forward with it. Now, if there's reason in the end to say he's totally wrong then I will.

Why the US wants to seize Iran’s Kharg Island! This is where the terminals are for Iran’s exports. China is the main user of Iranian oil. This is also the economic lifeline for the IRGC. If we take this, this will effectively cut off their lifeline, their ability to conduct war. I have heard that we basically eliminated all of Iran’s ability to protect this island. So, it appears it’s only a matter of time before we control it.
