I highly respect the coaching staff at K'ville. They took a program that had been down for many years and completely turned it around. I just think that when all is said and done and everybody steps out on the field for the kickoff, K'ville deep down really doesn't think they can beat WOS and that will be the deciding factor. However, this game won't get played, imo.

No offense, but nobody "deserves" to be on varsity if they quit. What about the players who didn't quit but hung in there through the off-season and two-a-days? You EARN your right to be on the WOS varsity and it should be that way, imo. Otherwise, everybody can quit when the going gets tough in the spring or summer (when there are better things to do than go up to the field house to lift weights or run). You've gotta want it all the time, not just when it suits you. Mustang football is not about quitters and it never has been. No reason to start now....

I agree, SA. They said on TWC this AM that the upper gulf coast (SE TX and SW La) need to start boarding up now to prepare. I was kind of shocked to hear them say that. I hate to see kids miss more of school and people having to evacuate and stay in hotels when a lot can't afford it.

You go and click on Ike. It will bring up the track for Ike. You can also click on the arrow to the left and it will show you the east side of the US. That REALLY shows where the 'cane is predicted to go.

It has to do with the decsion to cancel the game and all the fans and players from LCM pulled together and got Moody to change his mind. It is merely a post about how the entire town (north and south, so to speak) pulled together for once and scored a touchdown for the home team!!!

Not trying to disagree with you '79, but if our varsity continues to play like they did against Ned, we won't need anybody from the jv. Leave 'em there and let 'em grow up a little more!!!!!
