They are not keeping people out. There are no roadblocks off the interstate. Someone just called us that had evacuated to Marshall and decided to come back. It's not supposed to hit til tomorrow afternoon/evening.

Thanks. You know we live in the LC area? We've gotta go board up the new house first thing in the morning. We drove around town this evening and saw Superior Tire boarded up that gave us the way to get ours boarded. New custom windows that we don't want broken!!!! LOL

I just saw on Fox News that it just started tracking west. Don't know exactly what that means yet.

I was thinking we were outta the woods, so to speak, until I read a post over on the weather thread where HoopCoop stated that they were looking at the weather models and it shows that the storm has shifted slightly to the left and may come in at Cameron. TWC doesn't show that at all and some of us are curious about it because we are staying here in Orange.

Am curious about that statement, HoopCoop. They aren't showing that at all on TWC!!!! Please show us a model example, if possible. Some of us are staying!

I'm glad we decided to stay instead of getting out in that traffic nightmare!!!! We didn't leave Orange until Friday AM the day Rita hit and there was NO traffic by that time. We went to Ft. Worth via all the back roads and had to make a few uturns to get around roadblocks, but traffic was not the problem.

Is anyone else staying other than us?
