They all went to the game in separate vehicles because there wasn't a parking place for miles. Any late-goers went back home!!!

We still don't have cable or internet. Wow. What a bummer! I have a hard time not having cable. Internet is difficult as well, because my job relies on the internet. I just can't function without knowing what's going on in the world!!!! LOL.

Brookshire Royal played for the State Championship in 1998 in 3A. They have always been pretty athletic.

There is no booster club and has not been for the last couple of years. For what it's worth, I heard the Spectrum Co. was the original builder and Coach Hooks' secretary has the info.

LOL. You sure that wasn't yesterday? Heard yesterday was "da bomb" and today was "a bomb".

Not only the sign, but the athletes went six weeks of school without hot water to take showers after practice. What's up with that? I'm surprised someone hasn't already complained about that. The kids and the community love WOS football and it seems to get overlooked by,....well, you know.

There are some "out there" in the world that don't realize how important the game is to the kids, as well as the community. Their lives have been interrupted, but the one constant in their lives is the team....that is a security blanket for most....

I think a couple of the coaches have lost their MINDS because of this storm, but haven't heard of any that are gone. Coach Hooks did get water in his house, if that was what you meant.

I haven't heard anybody say how many people are "unaccounted for".

I heard that the shelter part was cancelled because the sewer system in West Orange is not up to par. Then why did they start school? Doesn't make sense to me, but I think it was a good day. Heard there were only 500 students.

We never got the FIRST 2K they sent out after Rita. We were denied TWICE for some reason. We left for that one. Didn't leave for this one. Won't leave for the next one....
