Per multiple sources, Scott Woodward has signed on to become LSU's next Athletics Director. The Baton Rouge native is heading home.

Year 3 is progressing as promised! Improvements every year. Amazing what constant, good coaching can do. Talent must be developed. HS superstars aren't good enough to win Championships.

We had this discussion the other day.  Is winning the NIT better than one and done in the big dance?   I think so but still tough to get excited about.  Especially with a Longhorn grad coaching another in state school in its first Final Four.   Especially a team that realistically only has 3 kids who would see significant minutes on the team playing in MSG.  

I’m trying to get excited about it.  The NIT field is solid, and winning it would be a really nice accomplishment, a bigger deal than winning one game in the big dance.  That being said, it ain’t the big dance.  

I figured with then bending over, grabbing their ankles to yell, they already sat on each others laps.

Have a funny meme about no one bribing anyone to get into A&M and Aggies being upset Texas being listed among the “elite” schools.  But I can’t post a picture on this site to save my life....

I am especially happy the FBI is investigating Yale women’s soccer.  It has bothered me for years the shenanigans they have gotten away with.  Good use of our tax dollars imo.  

Basically, UT has $340 million reasons to “get its basketball program right.”  Everyone knew what the deal was going into this season.  For whatever reason, it just hasn’t worked.  I wish Shaka all the best at his next gig.   He’s one of the good guys. 

I can’t decide if the SEC’s obsession with all things Texas is more flattering or sad.  I mean, we b-slapped the consensus second best team in that conference but Bama still has scoreboard over us when we play a mediocre, second string true freshman QB....
