No I'm not!! Go back and look at the points per game Silsbee gave up while he was dC. Or I'm quit sure any follower from Silsbee can help.when he was DC Silsbee defense wasn't gud under him. When,Silsbee coach Smith and his staff came along changed the culture on defense for them.and they have done a better job with them kids.

He was never DC at w.o. Mike pierce was.hickman was the dline coach.and when he was the DC at Silsbee they were one of the worst defenses that they ever had.

If our coaching staff can some how teach our Dbs.look out they will be a tough out for anyone on there schedule.they did run some man.but, seems like with the new scheme the kids don't know how to break on the ball.if they ever figure that out.look out. Bcz, that freshman back is gonna be special.

Ik, they hate when we critize coaches.but,when do you hold them accountable.im for every kid!! And they deserve to be taught better.my wife lil cousin plays for BU and talking with him makes me smh.

I totally agree with u!! But, when certain ppl only see things there way instead of having an open mind.its a reason that certain teams in our area are winning.silsbee,jasper,PAM,PNG,HF,NEWTON. And the rest of our area teams barely .500.coaching!! Me,personally really are proud of how hard our kids are trying.i truly believe if we had someone that knew how to run our system I have no doubt that these kids could play in dallas.

I'm glad someone sees that!! But, when a person not even willing to hear why the 50 defense worked.it is what is it.u can't go the whole year given up big yardage every game and expect to win.

The kids aren't quitting.theyre doing everything they can ro win. We're asking alot out of them

Lol, me, CT and a couple school board members sat on the other side.and everything that Vidor and w.o done wrong he said it bf it happened.ima say this and leave it alone with the talent on this team and that's coming back next yr.if we still had him for those years ik for a fact we would've made a trip to Dallas. The kids are truly playing hard no matter what is called on either side of the ball.

As great as miller,bottley and cartwright will be on offense.without Williams at LB ESPECIALLY will be hard to replace.i don't think ppl gave that kid enough credit what he did for 3yrs in a row

It depends.they really are the same!! But,here's it is for all of us w.o fans.every yr that they have been great 85,86,87,88,16,17 and so on.the thing they had was a gud dline with 2 smaller edge guys that puts so much pressure of it.makes it nearly impossible for tackles to block.but they can also drop in coverage if need be. Tnt up front normally can just abt handle any team.so it makes up for teams running the ball down there throat.and with this scheme they really wanna make u run wide to there strength.pursuit all 11 to the ball.and just everyone knowing where to be. But, at every level everyone doesn't run it the same.take TCU this past yr.50 or 3/4 it was the same thing on how they run it.and I truly believe more colleges will start running it too.

If u knew who I was then u know I get it straight from the kids!! No guessing.these kids are working hard.trying to get better.and they will.but, if they were running the 50 defense where they're shooting gaps.and bringing pressure off the edge.would make a huge difference.and I can say this one of the coaches is going so far as to helping alot of the kids.even on Saturday he has been picking them up and working with them.so,they're trying to get better.

The problem is still there!! What ur trying to running doesn't fit ur personal.they want be as unorganized but,same problems will remain.sometimes u have to see what fits ur kids.

I hope so too.but,right now I don't see a quick fix on anything.
