i wouldnt say deweyville is gonna win the district. i see it as the top three teams being Kountze, Deweyville, and either hardin or anahuac. Ec will come in a game short of the playoffs

i think he is talkin about Hussey running a 4.8.. not Dugat.. and Hussey did run a 4.8 last year, but he worked his but off lost some extra weight and is now down to a 4.6 and will probably continue to get faster, the kid is a worker.

do you realize the players that your losing?? you are losing the best players on your team. Mcdonald, Trammel, Trevino, Thomas. are you kidding me?? i think 5 is kinda harsh.. but next year definitly wont be the district champs

i have to disagree.. they would have still made the playoffs, just wouldnt have been co-champs. Daytons Defense is outstanding and it shows week in and week out. if you think about it the defense playing so well would give the offense confidence anyway. He is a very good player, but in my opinion he comes second to Hussey. because in quite a few games Dugat and another Fellow that played RB had a couple TD's apiece. Hussey carried the load for Lumberton all through district. i believe he ended up with 1700+ yards rushing

that is two of their games.. and i am pretty sure those are the two weakest opponets they have played and i can guarantee that Lufkin Jv is just as good as some of the varsity clubs in this area

sometimes it takes a winless district season to open young guys eyes.. and they will respond in one of two ways.. either work their butts off and turn it around of just flat out fold and settle for what they have. Should be better next year.. i know they had some young ones playing for. good luck to the pirates

HUSSEY!!! puts up big numbers all the time. and so does rhodes.. i know. but Cody is playing against tougher and faster Defenses and making them look silly and Hussey plays D as well. On The 4A level

i've been told that the lady cop on duty at the Kountze home games has asked fans to quiet down

pretty tough team.. lacked leadership and that showed in their lack of discipline. should be better next year

amen to that. LUMBERTON is for real and deserves some respect. they took it to a very very fast Lamarque team and Cody Hussey is flat out a BEAST. ask any player that has played him. lol

not sure bout the whole district but here is from Kountze MVP- KAILA JOHNSON 1st team- Tachara McGrue, Lauren Deaver, Maegan Stanford 2nd Team- Angela Bloodsworth, Kayla Allen not sure bout the rest of the district

dravanti was shown up by another defensive player on his team this year.. #2 on his team is a beast. if he isnt the best on his team... how in the world can he be the best in SETX?? lol my picks are CODY HUSSEY from Lumberton for OFFENSE and THOMAS WOLCOTT from Kountze for DEFENSE. Wolcott averaged about 10-12 tackles a game.
