anahuac should be good this year. they had talent last year but couldnt put it together and all those guys are back basically. district championship should be an interesting picture... kountze is bringin the defense.. thats for sure.

beating WH 4-0 during the scrimage wasnt that hard to do they dont run anything but gun and there starting center the only one that had been taking any snaps during 2 a days was injured and did not play so they had to slide sombody in there last minute and out of the 16 plays they ran he only got the ball to the quarterback about 6 times and those 6 times they moved the ball fairly easily on kountze's D its a scrimmage. dont mean squat. no excuses needed. ha

Hardin had an awesome year last year no doubt... bout how can you say Kountze hasnt proved themselves and hardin has?? same record if i remember correctly

......who has never coached a sport. He was basically given the spot when Sutherland departed with 3-4 years tops of teaching experience. After that announcement a mass exodus of the coaching staff occured. They lost a lot of quality experience at that point who were building a program. Kountze has some solid athletes but the mentality is the team is losers according to many of the student body and community folk. I spent many years there and talent walks the hallways but will not try out for the team. Get some of those big FFA kids out of the shop and on the field. i believe he coached baseball a few years back...
