These refs are brutal..
WOS 14- Jasper 7 late in the third
-
Tell Jaspers coach to know the rules!
-
West Orange in a close one tonight! They are starting to click on all cylinders at the right time! I believe it will be to much for the dogs.
-
I don't understand how people are bashing the coaching, or even these kids from WOS. This coaching staff has taken this program to 4 consecutive state championship games.
You all are over reacting to this WOS team. Yes, they are young but at the same time, they are playing a brutal schedule.. The schedule that coach T prepared will have this young group ready to make a run. When you play a tough schedule kids grow up. WOS is going to grow from this. Fans need to stop over reacting. WOS will dominate the district and make a huge run.

Coach T will have the troops in full force come friday! I will take WOS in a really close and competitive ball game!
-
-
Just saw the job was posted on the school website already...
-
WOS by as many as they want. I don't think WOS will have a close game until about round 4. I hope that it's an injury free football game and they are able to fine tune some things and make another big run!
GO STANGS!

Hearing some rumors out of LCM about kids missing this game for other reasons than injuries. Makes me feel for the seniors who are running out of that tunnel and competing for what could be the last time. I understand Injuries but some other things I have heard are just mind blowing.
Good Luck Bears!

Robinson in the past decade has knocked out:
BC (3 times) Regional Semis '11, '12, '16
LCM (Regional Final) '16
I think Orangefield is the last SETX Team to beat the Rockets in Regional Semis back in 2010, before losing to Jasper in Regional Finals.
I knew there was some history, just wasn't sure of the years. Thanks for the info.

Robinson has a history of knocking out southeast Texas schools this deep in the playoffs. They've given BC some fits in the past, and if I'm not mistaken they knocked out LCM last year.
Robinson is always a tough out and they also always make a deep run. Going to be a great game!

WOS has been slow coming out of the gates the last few games. If they come out slow again, Silsbee will take advantage. Looking to a great ball game tonight.
I assume it will be Jack Dallas for WOS on the bump, and Sundergren for Silsbee?
Positive thing for WOS last game they hit Sundergren hard, just hit a lot of balls at people.
Team that makes the least amount of mistakes, will win this one. I'll take the stangs in a 3-1 ball game!
-
any idea who will be on the bump for both teams?
-
I have seen both teams play, and they are both very good baseball teams. The biggest difference I see is pitching depth. That wont have much of an effect in the district games, but if these two meet in the playoffs, Id give the edge to Silsbee. I am looking forward to some good baseball tomorrow night at Ronnie Anderson Park, in this big district showdown. Best of luck to both ball clubs!

I'll take WOS in this ball game. Jack Dallas has been solid on the bump, and the offense can be pretty dang good at times. WOS 5- BC-2
-
Why go to a school that went 0-10.... Central Job is a good one, lots of talent in that school.

Will the game be broadcasted on the radio?
Yes KOGT 1600AM

Both very deserving football teams, playing the biggest games of there lives. Looking for a good one, but I think WOS will control it once the nerves get out of the way. WOS BIG!
GO STANGS BABY!!

I will take WOS. This is going to be another good game, but I think Coach T and the staff have the boys rolling. Defensively they are locked in and offensively they are getting and sustaining drives. GO STANGS!
