Question: How is it that WO-S has a NEW play-book/system etc. & yet the OC still insists on running the same 4-plays week in and week out? (working or not) Thank goodness for the defense/special-teams play. A play here & a play there & we might just be lookin' at 0-2 instead of 2-0 in district play. Thankful that the kids are 2-0 with a chance at a playoff spot. I've also noticed a select few of the WO-S coaches spending waaaayyyyy toooooo much time watching the ballgame. Not ALL of the coaches mind you...BUT a select few should reconsider spending a bit more time coachin' up the kids DURING the game and providing some much needed sideline motivation and leadership. I recall from back in the day how CT & other's would grab their group of players & make the necessary in-game adjustments. Not seeing' much of that these days. However, seein' LOTS of coaches with headsets on standin' and watchin'. Maybe I'm the only one seein' this? Here's to lookin' forward to a well played game next week!

Lynch might be done for the season...out at least 4-weeks. MCL is the word. Beasley out for another week or two. Lindsey's coming along just fine. Should be back to 100% next week.

I would like to see a few district games 1st.

I agree as well. Wasn't at the ballgame, but heard an excellent play-by-play from Gary & Co. (KOGT Radio). I had no problem with what Coach T said on-air. He's passionate about his player's, staff etc. and that's exactly the type of leader WO-S needs! Get over it people!

Giddings hasn't faced a tough 'D' such as the 'Chain-Gang' from WO-S. The Buffs avg. 38.5 PP. WO-S avg. is 29.3 PP. Prediction: WO-S 33 vs. Giddings 16. Looking forward to the Mustangs improving on their success from last week vs. Jasper.

I simply can't see WO-S starting this campaign 0-3 but it very well could happen...always a good battle when the Dawgs & Stangs play. I'm going with my Stangs in a low scoring battle: 21-16.

Prediction...a WO-S WIN. Good luck to both teams & communities. Should be a fun atmosphere at Lamar U.  :)

And again...keys players were out for both WO-S & LC-M that will have a HUGE impact for both teams. And traditionally, neither team in recent years has performed well in scrimmages. No worries for either team.  :)

I guess a weekend spent in the greater Houston area is overdue anyway! lol

Website has WO-S 31 over Nederland 7. The live scenario should be a bit closer!

Any word when the new track will be in stalled, along with he other proposed stadium improvements to Dan R. Hooks Stadium? Stadium entrance, concession stands & restroom facilities just to name a few.

Possibly one school district but remain separate high schools. WO-S would certainly have to decline in enrollment over the next few years for that to happen.
