I believe hardin will win the game Friday and they should they have more talent and depth than WH does this year but this is a good game for the oilers to go out there and play a team that will expose their weaknesses and hopefully get better from this game. And its a good game for hardi. To work on some things also that they are going to need later on this year. But that being said this is a rivalry game and anything can happen

if they are freak athletes than almost every team in the district are going to have freak athletes. teams that have that many freak athletes that you are talking about are teams that make deep runs in the playoffs. i agree with you they are all good players but they are not freak athletes i dont know that HD has ever had that many "freak athletes on one team now yes they have had some but not on one team. because i promise you West Sabine and West Hardin have just as much size and speed on the field as HD does. P.S i do love the enthusiasm you have for your team. Every team should have someone that loves thier team as much as you do.

its funny to me how HD Bobcat gets on here every year and says that this years team is the best they have had in a while. And both simmons boys moved to WH when they were in 2nd and 4th grade so WH made them the athletes they were not HD.this years WH team is better than they have had in the past 2 or 3 years and they do have a lot of potential to improve and they may not be better than HD but I can promise u that WH will make it a very rough night for hd when they meet up

WH looked pretty good last night against warren but WH still has a long way to go if they want to make the playoffs in a much tougher district this year. They need to work on the fumbleing and the dumb penalties.

These two teams always seem to slug it out when they play but right now I just think warren is a little ahead of wh with the coaching change and everything but I have seen both teams play and WH has more talented team if they can pull together and play with great intensity

why is it that hd has their best talent pool since the 80's every year and yet they havnt made it out of the first round in a long long time I'm tired of Hearing how much tradition they have and no one is jelious of their program like u seem to think

You are right ponder wasn't nearly as athletic and still won but ponder is way more athletic than u conn girls

You cant compare guys and girls teams, the guys would be able to rebound at will agains the Uconn team and everyone on this board knows that if you control the boards you will most likely win.  the boys team would also cause the women to foul like crazy trying to keep the guys in front of them. So the Uconn women in my openion would be able to keep the 1A div. 2 team close the others would win by 10+

how do these teams match up with the teams they will face in the first round of the playoffs

I think liberty is as good as the ec and bunas of the district

this is a very intense rivalry its the small town version of mid county madness so you never know what is going to happen in this one but i do think WH has the better team so i will give them the edge by 2

If you put donahoe and Benard and those kountze kids from the Kountze 07 team  on this team you also have to think of the kid that came from WH Brandon Letsinger on it, he averaged almost 25 a game as a sophomore and junior in the toughest 2A district in the state . 

surly decarlos franks is getting some look maybe not at the D1 schools that everyone thought but i bet there are alot of Juco's and DII that want him and also what about the two kids from kountze someone has to be looking at them

I agree Yates does'nt have a chance. There is a reason that you don't see college teams running the press like yates does, almost every D1 college has the athletes that yates does but they don't run the press like yates because it does'nt work against college teams and everyone on here talks about that is all yates does and if they cant adjust and do something diff. than they would get ran out of the gym because thier offense is thier press and if they arent getting turnovers than they arent scoring. I would predict that Lamar could hold yates to under 50 points

WH has already beat HD this year and WH is down this year so i can't see them making the playoffs
