Great Job Ladies!
Good Luck in Florida! -
We are looking to start a CO-OP this summer for High School softball players.
It would be simular to what they did last summer in Jasper but hopefully we
can get more Highs Schools involved. All of the details have not been worked out
because we are waiting to see how many groups will want to play.
Games will most probably be on week nights only , depending on field availability.
Cost will be very minimal....umpire fees, etc.
If you are a parent intrested in putting a High School team together to play in the CO-OP or need info give us a call.
see the highschool softball thread to add your schools name.
thanks,
Allen Gautreaux

14U Young Guns and Orange Crush Shug in Sugar Land...
Around 30+ Quality Teams in that one..... -
He didn't even start the second half after a great first half.....????????????
Also....a highschool team could have made adjustments against LC.
The highlight of the first half was the dunk.....everything else was sloppy on both ends.
Mike played great....hope to see him on the floor more!!! -
The 16U Young Guns are currently looking for a catcher and middle infielder.
If you are interested in playing on a fully sponsored team with college exposure as a priority
give us a call for a tryout.

Some in the OF community have been trying to get swimming at the school for over 2 years.
Looks like after tonight's school board meeting it is no closer to being an option for kids at OF.
Sure wish something like this would not get shuffled around the school board "table" for this long.
Other schools are successful with a "parent sponsored" swimming program...why not give it a chance at OF?
Would love to get input from others involved with successful "parent sponsored" swimming programs on how
we at OF can make this work for the kids that want to represent OF in swimming.

mj-7.......Keep doing what you do.
I know of several times you have commited or posted "other organizations" scores, etc.
so thanks for keeping the "Softball Community" updated.
I also care to see what other teams from the GT area are doing and am proud
of what all the teams and players do.
;) -
It is not a new found concern...as you would say.
It does not matter what sport it is.....Volleyball, Softball, Football, etc.........we should be
practicing that sport "in the middle of district play" not other "stuff".
Tell me this,... what is more important......practicing 2 weeks before school starts for Volleyball or
practicing during the "Volleyball Season" in the middle of district play?
It is mandatory to practice before Volleyball season starts but ok to do whatever else other than practice Volleyball
During the "Volleyball Season".....makes perfect sense!!!!!
Bash me all you want.....but nothing changes the facts.....
I also understand this is way off topic, so carry on with the 21-3A Predictions.
Was wanting to see how the Predictions came out ;)
